I've got a very small & light brolly which fits into my bag so going to bring that with me- got it from boots if you want to have a look there.
Fingers crossed weather will be ok, am the moment just showers on Friday morning which if thats all there is during my trip then thats fine.
Right, well I best go and finish packing. Flights in the morning, so excited!

As soon as its rains in NY you will find the place is flooded, pardon the pun, with people selling umbrellas, last trip they were going for $5 so personally I wouldnt bother packing one just buy it if you need it0

Has anyone done a helicopter ride over Manhattan? If so which company would you recommend (and yes I have done a heli ride before so know what I'm letting myself in for!)0

There aren't the deals that there used to be on DVDs in the states it seems. The only places we found DVDs in New York were Best Buy & Borders, we have the same problem in Orlando thought we found a shop called FYE down here that do DVDs etc (a bit like our HMV) but the prices didn't seem that great.

I've never found anywhere that's a lot cheaper than the UK, of course it was a tad cheaper when the $ was 2 to 1 but alas no more.
Also remember the vast majority of dvds will be region 1, which unless you have a region free dvd player they wont play properlyLive each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0
