I've decided to add a little scalloped trim around the edge of the round one so it will be a better match for the ripple one. I'll put another photo on when I'm done.
Edit: And here it is. I think it looks much better.

its similar to one in blanket by Artydoll...with raised bobbles
Rnd 2: Ch 3, * (dc, ch2, dc) in next st, dc in next st, 5-dc PC in next st, dc in next st; repeat from * around. Enddc in top of last row PC, PC, repeat from * around. End last repeat with sl st in top of beg ch-3.
