The Mortgage Free in Three - Take 2 challenge (MFiT-T2)

Just updated Google docs.
V pleased :j to say we have emt our target of getting down to £30,000 so will be joining the next challenge to try and completely clear it.
Well done to everyone - look forward to seeing the chart and thanks as usual to FB :T0 -
Similar story to that posted on third challenge. Think I've got a bit of man-flu.
Chart day tomorrow and pretty much all the plans I've had for the week so far have been thrown out of the window, which means I need to finalise the 11th chart tomorrow instead of working on them and just publishing tomorrow.
Never missed a 12th date yet, but it's likely to be later in the evening, say around 9pm or so. Not too late for an update if you have not supplied one yet.
Still developing the charts for the third challenge, but I've hopefully made them easier for admin purposes.
Off for a (nearly) early evening.

Hi everyone
I had already updated a couple of days ago, but our extra standing order to the mortgage has just been applied and the balance is currently £99851.74 which is below £100,000 and I am very excited! There is no way we would have achieved this without this challenge so I am very grateful to everyone for the support.
I hope my new update is in time to be included on the chart.
Best wishes
Hooby

Just updated and sadly for the first time ever we have gone into the red with £10627 left to pay before the end of the challenge.
However, I have completely taken my eye off the ball with several holidays and changing both our cars.
So I will have to find the time to take a close look at the finances, as I'm sure I can conjure up a bit more in the last few months; maybe not enough to hit the target but certainly enough to get us into the 90 plus percentage, which would feel great.
I will be signing up for the next challenge, as this is only the start for us. Being proactive is better than just watching the investments and praying there would be enough when it came to pay off mortgage time.MFiT-T3 Number 61 Reduce mortgage by £50000Mar 13 £5660/11.32% June 13 £12513/25.03% Sept 13 £16951/33.90% Sept 14 £38391/78.78% paid offMFiT-T2 Number 34 Reduce mortgage by £66471Dec 12 100% paid off!0 -
Hi Everyone,
Number 102 here.
Current status is £74,000 outstanding. Unfortunately not going to make target, although this is due to a job change, country of residence change and relationship status change.
Still it was given a good go while the situation was stable!!!!MFiT-T2 #102

Right - the second last chart in this second challenge.
Just before I publish the link to the chart, in case you're interested, a fair amount of time is spent formatting the data. I've got 3 tabs open looking at the sheets and when I copy from a template chart to the actual Chart 11, all the formatting is lost.
I've 'fixed' this for the third challenge, and the charts update automatically based on a central updates sheet.
Still, here it it:

So,so many of you have either become mortgage free or exceeded their objective if it was to reduce the mortgage. Well done everyone.
I'll update our mortgage free roll of honour and tidy up Chart 12, but probably tomorrow evening now. Aiming to turn in early, but going to give the T3 challenge a bit of attention first.
Never too late for an update and I see I've quite a few PMs which I've not opened yet.
Finally, a quick personal comment - thanks everyone for joining me towards my mortgage free goal - I've just posted a balance of £2,175 and am expecting to become mortgage free within a matter of weeks - need to transfer funds around and dump funds at the mortgage account.
Give yourselves a pat on the back - once again well done everyone.
Thanks,
