    Hi everyone, number 37 here
Just updated google docs with a balance of £55046. I've got Aus$5000 in the account waiting to go but I keep putting it off, the housing market is stalling here now so I'm wondering if we should get a deposit together and buy...
Anyway UK mortgage is doing OK and am still on track.
Hope everyone else is doing ok

    Hi,

My outstanding balance has increased slightly, unfortunately, as we've had to use money from the offset account to fund house repairs. We'll have a lot more to pay out this winter, too, but I'm still positive that we'll have enough in savings to pay off the mortgage by the end of this challenge if we want to!

Keep up the good work everyone - it will be worth it in the end!
  • Hi all

    Just updated via google docs.

We too have taken a bit of a step back, but for a good cause.
Invested £11k in solar panels for our home after much research.

Still on track to be mortgage free by end of 2012 though so not to bad.

104 days til Christmas day...........where has this year gone!

    Have updated anyway

    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

  • Figures have gone upwards since DH has been on Maternity Leave.

I will be getting a lump sum in October which will bring things back within the required level. DH will going going back to work in December after having a year off wtih DS1, so am hoping we can make real inroads into meeting our target by 12/12/12.

Unfortunately this quarter has seen us move +10k from last update.

Mainly because I decided to pay of a 0% Purchase credit card in full rather than doing a balance transfer. And I also include a S+S ISA which has lost 25% but this is a long term investment...

    Thanks for all the encouragement.

Balance today £41741. Really busy couple of months so have not been as good as we should have been - need to knuckle back down especially with meal planning as the food bill is steadily creeping up.

Many thanks FB & Maz for all your hard work.
  • Fuly intended to update the rest of the stats this evening, so that once I'm in from work tomorrow evening, I can just publish chart 07 and job done.

Didn't quite work out like that. Bunged the kids into bed and opened a bottle of wine instead.

So, I'm sitting here and don't have the energy to start now.

So just a heads up that the chart is likely to be a little later in the day tomorrow once I'm in from work and get some time on the PC.

    Cheers (literally)
