Great to see the progress on Chart 7 - glad to see the Teapots managed to stay in the green and we're hopefully on target. As ever, thanks for all your hard work FB.

:j Although it was too late for the chart we've made it to under £40000 on the mortgage this last few days. :j A good feeling moving down into the £30ks even if its only by £60 :rotfl::beer:

    Quick post - hi all,

Been a bit slow out of the starting blocks on chart 08 so you know where you are for December.

Aim to get that published tomorrow (Sunday).

    (Late) evening,

Sometimes I'm better off saying I'll do something before hand - that way I'll pretty much force myself to get task in hand done.

Decided to take apart the computer room, dismantle computer, hoover around computer desk, sort out paperwork and put back together.

Currently at sorting out stage - as a result of dismantling the computer, I'm currently set up on the dining room table!

But, the good news is that I've managed to create a chart 08, which can be bookmarked at this address:
    https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/pub?hl=en_GB&hl=en_GB&key=0AnhcWfGMRVgddGtzMTdvS1VnNXUwakpPc3NjZzRHMVE&single=true&gid=43&output=html

Data is a little out of date, but as I'll be updating chart 07 on Monday evening, I'll also do so to chart 08 to keep them in step.

So, the eighth chart of the challenge, marking a close of year two due to be published on 12th December 2011.

Put a post-it on the fridge, use some sort of e-remainder app, put an alart in your phone, or perhaps just put a comment in a paper diary.

Whatever works for you - hope you'll be joining me there...

For my own personal forcecast, I still anticipate being RED  for chart 08, but as part of this challenge being a big driver for me to become mortgage free, I'm hoping to become mortgage free in the last quarter of 2012, so at some point I'll have to go green for the first time in the challenge. :D

Thanks again everyone for the support and showing an interest in the challenge.

  • One other quick point with two items.

    Housekeeping.
Done a little housekeeping on the first page of this challenge - added in chart 08 and updated the annoucements etc to reflect where we currently are and the next chart publish date.

    Chart updates.
As just mentioned, I'm going to update charts 07/08 with recent data - if you've just gave a balance update here on MSE, it's much easier for us if you publish via the update form page, as this goes to a holding page in the charts and is just one place for the updates.

I'll scan back a few pages here for updates, but it's much quicker to locate them via the form.

    Update form is here:

    Thanks again,
