hello FB and others, I noticed my last attempt at a google docs update didn't seem to work, looking at the current schedule, so I'll do an update and write it here (like before), but PM you guys as well if that's ok, til I can work out what I did wrong :)

so weezl74 declaring mortgage outstanding as £50, 276

we are losing 20% of DH's salary and all of my SMP in jan, and I don't think I'll be able to earn much with looking after my boys, but maybe by being super-thrifty we will still get there by 12/12/12 :)

Best of luck to you all with your ongoing challenges,

    Weezl x

    Hi weezl,
That's probably my fault. A handful of people provide monthly updates, which I tend to ignore and only batch up the updates as we approach a chart.

It may be that your update was running a little late and I've simply ignored it. I'll check this evening and make sure everything is up to date.

  • I absolutely agree about the small targets. One of my pet frustrations now though is actually our spreadsheet. Seeing and knowing what you will hit and when can make it seem like it's dragging. I find two solutions to that - firstly look back at where you started and take the time to recognise your progress and secondly, keep taking the "tablets" contained in reading other people's successes. It's great to see 3 people on this challenge make it, it was actaully quite strange on the day Billy managed it, coming home from work and waiting to log on and confirm they had made it was pretty exciting!!!

    Mortgage free status achieved!

I shall be adding a post in the main MF roll of honour and looking forward to being MF no.3 in this challenge.

Excellent. We have a third mortgage free challenger all ready - 10 months and 26 days into the challenge.

JonnyBravo - I've added you into our little (but growing) mortgage free chart:

    http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=tks17oKUg5u0jJOsscg4G1Q&single=true&gid=5&output=html

Anyone close to being mortgage free before the end of the year? Would be nice to notch up a few more in the mortgage free roll of honour.

    Well done.

    Everyone is doing fantastically.
  • I've updated chart 03 as per the google docs update plus the few PM's I'd received.

Weezl - went to send a quick PM reply and got this:

"weezl74 has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space."
