Not sure it makes a story - legally dodgy in terms of defamation and proving claims, for the paper.
It makes a good read here, but I don't think it will translate into print unless you go to court and win, and then it might.
And you won't get ££££££ from a newspaper for a story like this, I'm afraid.:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

If and its a big "if" he takes you to court, then you can also the case moved to your local court.
This way he will have to travel to attend, you don't say where the bus was damaged, but the pics on your listing show no damage to panels. But you really need to talk to a solictor most offer the first appointment free and this can include a letter to be sent.
Hope this helps,Debt Free Wannabee - Updated 13/08/2007

God, what a saga. You poor thing. Just one thing to add to all the excellent advice here: I could well be wrong but I don't think that, with a case in the small claims court, he can be made to pay your costs, even if he loses. You might want to check that out before you incur any solicitor's fees etc. Good luck!0

You have all the story you need for a great ME page
Hope it all gets sorted in the end0 -
i can't believe that this saga is still going on!! i'm so sorry for you that one idiot can cause this much trouble.
he crashed it and ran away - not a good thing to do at all, but to them come back and do all this?!?! and expect you to pay when he bought it 'sold as seen'..... it's another piece of proof that the world is full of nutters.
hope you get it sorted:happyhear0 -

Im sorry too that this is still going.
Take him to court.
And if you lose, perhaps 2000 MSE'rs can all give £1

If it failed the MOT it really has nothing to do with you. People buy cars/vans with not much MOT left on them all the time. Fact is he bought the van THEN had the MOT test. It was HIS possession when he had the test. Let him take you to court. He hasn't got a leg to stand on and you might call his bluff.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040
