Even more reason to take it slowly...
I am starting a thread suggesting we declare the source of all codes...
From memory, weren't we asked to declare the source of all codes initiallyWins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0 -
Read the Tesco code discussion thread....0

Guess it's too late to resurrect this now. Closing stable doors after horses have bolted comes to mind :rolleyes:0

Indeed.
It's a shame a few spoil it for so many by being greedy in the short term and not thinking about the possible long term benefits.0 -
Surely when you checkout to pay on the Tesco website the code would be invalid if you were not entitled to use it. I have found codes on leaflets laying around in the dentist waiting room.
Is the talk of fraud is abit over-the-top? If you spend £50 and get £5 off Tesco are still in profit.
As many have said. We only shop at Tesco now because of the online codes.
I think they are probably making more money now as they have far more online shoppers.0 -
People have been using codes meant for one person to get £10 ish pound off any spend to have cakes and DVD's delivered.0
-
I have never seen a code without a minimum spend. If it was meant for one individual/person, how do so many get to use it?
There must be very few of these codes around?0 -
They were posted here and abused.
Customers who were being compensated for late delivery and the like posted the codes here.
Once they were posted the flood gates were open as there were not customer specific - something I think Tescos have changed now. Codes were used for goods less than a fiver and very small items delivered free. But I think this is only part of the problem.....0 -
Just looked at a site where I sometimes get Tesco codes. They have written an announcement that eBay have removed all the listings from members selling Tesco codes.
Tesco really do mean business. :eek:0 -
The listings being taken off by ebay may be due to the buyers reporting the information as useless or other sellers reporting each other to remove competion. Or Tescos may have reported each listing seperatly. As some listings are still active I would presume one of the active sellers reported the other seller, or some customers complained about what was sold.
Who really knows, but I would susspect it wasnt TESCO0
