Wii Fit £41.98 delivered

Well after receiving a call from MW on Tuesday confirming it'll be delivered today I got a letter this morning saying delivery would be delayed until 29/1, not a problem (even though it's my birthday pressie which is tommorrow). When I logged in to track my order it then stated my estimated delivery was 23/4!!!. I'm not prepared to wait that long even for such a bargain so I phoned up and cancelled my order and will now try and get hold of one, as originally planned, from John Lewis. At least my staff discount will knock a little off the price. It was definately worth a try though, nothing ventured and all that. Congratulations to everyone that received their order, lucky !!!!!!s!!

I ordered at 5.30pm on the 8th, an hour after the lady above whose order has been delayed 3 months, so I haven't a cat in hell's chance of getting one this month have I?!

same thing happend to me. I ordered on 8th Jan for my boy's birthday yesterday. Was told it would be deliverd 22nd Jan - okay a day late - he could forgive me. But came home expecting package instead was letter saying it wouldn't be delivered until 16th April 2009!!!!:eek: :eek: :eek:

Wow all this interest in the Wii Fit that won't actually get you fit (even in their literature they say it's to help with "balance" and won't get you fit!)

If I'd have known I would have sold mine and my friends, cause both of ours have been gathering dust in the corner for the past two months or so

I also had the letter stating it would be delayed a week to the 29/01/09...and checked the status today and it is still with a status of "Order Accepted" but like others I have an expected delivery date of 23/04/2009.

I orderded mine exactly 3 hours after the original post.

I think I am going to hold out to the 29/01 before I cancel the order....i'm hoping the letter was right!

Has anyone actually phoned up and asked them to explain why the delivery date has changed so drastically (especially people who have recieved letters tellig them its delivered next week?)

have just called to be told that my order is now with the delivery company so its upto them when my order will be delivered so i was told to expect it within the next few days, all well and good but ive been waiting in all day for something that wasnt actually coming today.. sigh!

staceylou - what does it say when you log-on to the order status section? Does it say despatched?

What a rollercoaster this is! I keep thinking "ooh it sounds good", then "no way will I be getting one". I must try harder to be patient!

says order despatched, i did ask on the phone if there would be anymore of a delay then a few days and was told that it shouldnt be waiting no later then monday

Am speaking to them as I write .......pathetic customer service, "not our fault...." etc etc. When I queried why they took the order and my money was taken instantly, with their website showing as 'in stock'.....reply was ..don't know. My expected del date is now 6th April ...pathetic
