    Yes programme was very good and very informative - plus made in lovely Shropshire countryside just down the road from me here :)
    There is a working farm here all year in the shape of the Acton Scott Working Farm Museum - well worth a visit!:T

    Brilliant programme, I could watch it dozens of times and still enjoy it. I remember the steam threshers, they came to my Uncles farm every year until I was about 8, he bought a tractor then..boo hoo!!!! He kept his shire horses until they died, such beautiful aminals and so gentle...........wonder if I'll be able to watch it again on the lap top??????

    I really enjoyed the first programme tonight. What a great start to the series, I'm glad I recorded because I could watch that over and over :T

    This was my "must-watch" for tonight and I wasn't disappointed!! I love this sort of series (got the Green Valley DVDs as soon as I could and I have watched them so many times). Can't wait for next week - so nice to have something good to watch (soooo fed up with c**p about so-called "slebrities").

  • Fantastic programme. I love Ruth Goodman as she's so animated and enthusiastic about what she does. Can't wait till the next episode.

    'Tales from the Green Valley' was wonderful, I have it on DVD.
