Oh i don't know, parking is so much easier there for me. Don't get caught up by the multi storey - literally just in and straight out onto the A30. Plus my sons love that we now have a Frankie & Bennys and Starbucks lol - can't you guess where we went in the holidays lol.
The Atrium multi-storey car park is awful, when going to the next level cars have to swerve out to take the bend as the turn is so tight, the cinema is good though and lots of places to eat.
Good luck to the staff at Zavvi.0 -
Yesterday I managed to pick up the box set of the ITV produced Sherlock Holmes series starring Jeremey Brett from the Leeds Zavvi. It was marked up as £34.99 put with the extra 10% off it came to £31.49 which made it a real bargain.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. The Zavvi in Princes Street, Edinburgh only opened a couple of months back and it has been shut down for a while now

Surely Zavvi have to reduce prices more than that soon - they'll only have a set time to sell all of the stock before the administrators move in. I'll wait til then I think. 20% off a £20 DVD is still too much to pay.0 -
I just picked up The Pink Panther Film (6 Films) & Cartoon Collection (124 cartoons!) in a 12 DVD set from Zavvi in Manchester centre - it was £18.39. Much cheaper than I could find it on the internet.
Plus I got 'The Club' on PS3 for £6.39.

Tried getting some PS3 controllers but aparrently according to the sales lady they were still £27.99 with no extra discounts. Her colleage said that was strange as he had bought 2 yesterday and the till gave him 10%off (not staff discount) anyone else bought any controllers etc?0
-
According to the signage around the store, the discounts are NOT applicable to any gaming hardware, ipods and accessories.
The reason they aren't reducing the price any further yet is because the Administrators will be aware that CDs, DVDs etc. can all be sold on for other retails at a reasonable price.
Have to say that the Watford store is starting to look more and more like Woolies each day - the shelves are becoming empty quite rapidly.
Their xbox 360 game prices are, generally, too high in the first place, and with 20% off they only just start to become competetive.
In the knowledge that I can't return anything I'd be happier to go and buy a pre-owned game from Gamestation or CEX than I would for new in Zavvi (or HMV for that matter). It's generally £10 cheaper to buy it pre-owned.....0 -
The other issue now is that, because the likes of Woolies have gone out of business and Zavvi are heading there, other retailers start to whack their prices up!!!0

i noticied zavvis prices on games very high at the mo , so with 20% discount i could still get cheaper online ,, and no xbox live or adaptors left in MK storeDont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec0
