Any Zavvi sale will be similar - Joe Public who don't have web access or who aren't savvy enough will be fooled and will buy from them, but smart MSErs will probably find it isn't worth their time to visit Zavvi.
if you have been in any zavvi stores, you will have seen that our prices are in fact very competitive compared with hmv(this is before the discount).a great majority is much cheaper , this is not true for everything but as i would advise anyone you shop always shop around before you buy anything.if you go to a zavvi store in the next few days then you will see this for yourself.
i hope that customers will be a little more understanding in the future, the shop staff are only the messengers after all.0 -

sorry to ask but do you know if the friends boxset is still £50 and if it will have 20% off? thanks xxGoals for 2010Current Credit Cards £4500,£4200, £4000, £3000Overdraft £1500 PAID OFF!0 -
i am a staff member lucky enough to have kept my job today, im posting here because if it stops one customer being damn right rude to me, with complaints of the fact they were told it was 50% off everything then it will have been a success.
cds, games and dvds will be 20% off
tshirts and books £30% off
vinyl 50%
no reduction on hardware
all stock that currently is in a sale will have these discounts.
as for the stores that closed today, the stock is being distributed to other stores.
Hey,
I hope that all goes well for you in the future, and that you find other work in the future, if anything goes wrong with your current job.
I think that most people will sympathise with you and your position, but sadly when you deal with the general public you will find that people can also be total muppets. I apologise on behalf of the public.
Best wishes to you and your colleagues.

Oh i don't know, parking is so much easier there for me. Don't get caught up by the multi storey - literally just in and straight out onto the A30. Plus my sons love that we now have a Frankie & Bennys and Starbucks lol - can't you guess where we went in the holidays lol.Slightly worn out mum to 3 (DS1 May 03, DS2 Feb 05, DD1 Feb 08). When i grow up i think i'll become a UN Peace keeper....0 -
Oh - I'd noticed it had closed, but didn't know it had moved...tigger98orange wrote: »One opened up in a new shopping centre in Camberley literally weeks ago!!
(Anyway, Rock Box is a better shop in Camberley.)0 -
Agreed about the waste of space of the Atrium - it was better as a car park! Mind you, at least the kids now have an entertainment complex so maybe not such a waste of space! Also agreed about the Rock Box - always go in there for my OHs CDs as they are not mainstream and often discontinued and they will order things without turning a hair! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
