marley & me looks like usual hollywood mulch- will wait for it on sky! might have gone if I could get freebies but won't pay!!!
Please don't tell me you paid full price for the cloverfield dvd????
Nope, never pay full price for a dvd. You only have to wait a couple of months until the vast majority of dvd's are in a sale of some sort. It was £2.99 (I love Play!):rotfl:0 -
We want to highlight the challenges that children and young people face, and our long-term approach to helping them overcome those challenges. We have teamed up with DCM, Picturehouse, Theatr Mwldan and Queen's Film Theatre to offer free tickets to three great films on the first Sunday of each month in March, April and May 2009

if you're still after tickets you should keep trying the codes daily
just because they appear full to begin with doesn't mean more won't become available.0 -
You were right about the training lol
Brilliant film, and I sobbed my heart out and nearly had to leave! My cat was put down last month and it was exactly the same storyline, ill, nearly died, makes a recovery only to get sick again a week later and then be put down. The vet in the film was almost saying the same stuff that was said to us!!
My poor hubby and I were trying hard to control the tears!
A great film, but not good if you have had a pet put down recently as we found out to our cost!!!
Oh thanks for letting me know. Yesterday I found out that our little kitty has a tumour which on top of his other problems means that he only has maybe a few weeks to live. I decided to give the film a miss and it sounds like it was a good call!
I have been sobbing enough without that!0 -

Sorry but code now says full.
The code was 511889, and it still had at least 2 tickets available for Blackpool on Monday March 9th, from the moment I posted my original reply to yourself until at least 6pm yesterday evening.
All I can say is keep trying. Have you read my post (#3 on the 1st page) of the CODES ONLY thread ?
I did list all the previously posted codes for Marley again on "Codes Only" the other day.
Since there are so many of them ...
... and especially since so many expire tomorrow night ...
... and the rest of them in the next week ...
... and I'm guessing that not everyone here has tried every code (can't see Wood for Trees syndrome)
(and as I post I know that NOT all tickets on all codes have all gone ...)

From him being the unwanted one in his litter and the squeals on the first night enabling him to sleep in the bedroom to the dragging me everywhere on his lead, chewing up everything and training classes being no success!! As he got older he was also exactly the same he couldnt get upstairs anymore so slept downstairs and then got tired on walks etc. until eventually he just got quite unwell due to his age and we had to have him put down. It was like watching his life unfold in two hours! The tears were rolling down my cheeks! Heard alot of other people sniffing away in the audience too!
Awww I am so sorry to hear about your doggie, its so sad when animals are put down.
We got our own "marley" a black labrador puppy on sat, and everything that happened in the film is happening at the moment in my home, so we did giggle!!
I think the film is definately for animal lovers as there isnt much of a story as such, but the story of a man and his dog and there companionship.
Not for everyone as not much happens but I certainly can't see how it could be called atrocious.Never argue with a fool, they will lower you to their level and then beat you with experience.........!!!:rotfl::T0 -

Awww I can feel your pain as our darling cat died last month suddenly and we were devastated, please please don't go and see Marley and you will be so upset.
I thought I was coping with my cats death after getting our puppy, but I am not joking I nearly had to leave as I wasnt just crying I was sobbing and in the end got my phone out to fiddle with (on silent) just to stop me looking at the screen as was worried I was going to make a massive show of myself with loud hysterical tears!
I hope your kitty has a few more weeks with you.Never argue with a fool, they will lower you to their level and then beat you with experience.........!!!:rotfl::T0 -

Well I was going to take my Mum last night- but told her I couldnt make it but would take her next week!!!!!!!!! Now I will avoid it at all costs!
Every time I look at the cat I sob so I am sure that I would be exactly the same as you! Sorry that you had to go through that0
