lol Can I just make an annoucement lol since this is the discussion thread!!! lol

I got myself my own Marley over the weekend!!! A cute little black labrador puppy!!! he looks just like Marley but is black!! We are going tomorrow to see Marley so I can see what my little fella will be capable of doing after training classes lol

sorry I know this is a bit off topic, but wanted to share my news as its topical lol

awww bless. :D Congrats hun, he sounds lovely! :j I don't know what Marley looks like in the film because I've not had the chance to watch it yet but little black labradors are normally really cute. :)
  • Don't want to come across as the harsh cynical type here, but the only sad thing about it I thought was that I was robbed of two hours of my life watching that formulaic rubbish.

PS, is everything in Ireland a picture postcard stereotype?

PPS Strange cover of Nirvana's 'r**e me' about half way through the film. Not really appropriate for a family film?

on this note- I finally caught 'cloverfield' last night- never have I seen such a great load of tosh in my life & at 1hr 20 mins I would have been gutted if I'd paid at the cinema to see it! all the hype about the monster it was clearly based on the landstriders from the dark crystal! utter pap!!!!!

I paid to see it :( I wanted to walk out but after paying I felt I had to stay - so I fell asleep instead :o Definitely one of the worst films I've seen in recent years!

I not only paid, I also got extremely motion sick during it (the only warning in my cinema was for epileptics). I didn't want to trouble my mates so I stayed trying to close my eyes most of the time but had to be helped out of my seat in the end. And I hated what I saw/cvould hear!

Sorry to mix it up guys, but I really enjoyed Cloverfield. Paid to see and even bought it on dvd. I found it to be a groundbreaking and original look at what had become a tired formula.

Hey-ho. Each to their own. Might I suggest Marley & Me?
