Sorry if this is repeating but im new to this.....

i just got some tickets for Marley and Me for tomorrow at Cineworld in Dundee, called the Cinema and they knew nothing of see film first.

Also they say they arent having another showing until 13/03????

The bit i printed saying its tickets is just an A4 sheet with my name, admits 2 and the venue and film is that right? Is it the girl behind the desk that is wrong or me?

Any help appreicated....

The A4 sheet is exactly what you should have.

As for 13/03 ? That's when it is released and will be in most cinemas for paying customers.

Yes, but it is possible that some box office staff may not know about seefilmfirst, this particular preview screening, or may know it by some other promotion - eg Disney or Paramount - the actual distribution company rather than the company that just hands out "the free tickets".

I'm sure it will be OK and will be screened as stated.
Any doubt, call back and ask to speak to the manager.

Typically not all the staff are aware of the viewing. I've turned up on the day with my ticket and the cinema usher has no idea. I've had to ask for a manager before they let me in.

Even if they do know, because the film isn't out yet, they don't want to accidentally advertise preview screenings otherwise people would just turn up for the hell of it.

Just hand your printout to the staff as if you had bought a ticket
