To quote Lovinglifeinwales from this thread:

"Let's get back into the domain of reality Reverbe..."

    &

Maya on the M&S Penny Bazaar thread:

"I think you are the one who needs to get a grip on reality..."

This isn't the first time you have tried to start flame wars over promotions. Perhaps you should listen to the advice of others.

There has no wrongdoing on the Cinema thread. No MSE, nor MC laws have been broken.

We all love cinema. Full stop. End of conversation. No further comment will be made.

I think no flame wars. Maya from what I recall took issue with me when I quite legitimately complained to M&S over them giving my prize to someone else.M&S seem to have no problem with my genuine grievance and in the end that is the only thing that mattered to me.I think you will find that it is Maya who has a history of making controversial posts on the daily thread. I have never started nor taken place in any flame war not even a few days ago when I was being unfairly attacked for picking pennies up off the street.I steadfastly refused to get dragged into any conflict.

Tibbs thats really not fair on people like me who bought the magazine, read the book several years ago several times and have been dying to watch the film for ages... hope I manage to get a ticket before all the non MC readers swoop on them...

Please give genuine readers and fans of the book a little time before you give the code to the vultures on here. Thanks./QUOTE]

Reverbe, how about you mature a little? You don't think that many others on here have missed out on codes for films they're desperate to see? Of course, we all have, but that's part of the process. Also, I found it extremely ironic that, here you are, on a thread for free tickets, and yet, the rest of us are "vultures".

btw, I haven't read an issue of Maire Claire in my life, and was delighted when I got tickets for Julie&Julia. You know why? It sounds like a damn funny flick.

    everyone calm down

fact is, there isn't much point in you complaining when the tickets ARE free. If you've got a problem then PAY for them

It's like having audience tickets. I've watched the Paul O'Grady show and enjoyed it but when i got the FREE audience tickets, i hated it and thought it was stupid. But i only applied coz they WERE free and i thought i might enjoy it

people are like this..we want free stuff, whether we like it or not

    and again

    CALM DOWN
  • I just cancelled 4 tickets for Bandslam showing tomorrow morning in Bluewater. I hope somebody else can use them.
    Enjoy.
  • just cancelled 2 tickets for the ugly truth at southampton for tomorrow if anyone wants to try, was fortunate enough to get 2 for portsmouth instead!

Just back from bandslam not bad for a disney film, great soundtrack

Hope you enjoy it. But it's not a comedy. The book is like a documentation of her working through the book so unless they have written new comedy bits in it.. it won't be full of laughs. But a sweet and interesting tale all the same.
