    I have got first one without any information on apart from my name. And when I read the thread, I did again at Manchester Printwork. But all gone:( I know it is free but I am not happy how they operate as I literately ordered two of the tickets and got it at first.

    Thougth I had tickets for Bruno (the non-personalised ones), but after seeing the posts on here tried to get new ones this morning. All full - not very impressed. Agree that this will cause huge problems at the box office - hardly anyone will know about the error. I am yet to receive an email from SFF to let me know about their big mistake - only because I come on here I know.

    Same here, what a shambles! You would think that SFF would at least send an email to all those who applied and still think they have a valid ticket to apologise or at least set some other screenings up. I emailed them yesterday and havent had a reply so i would be none the wiser.

    I guess I was one of the lucky ones to get tickets this morning for Bruno after getting the non-personalised ones yesterday.
    Never give up the dream! :beer:

    I actually don't think any of our details registered yesterday as I was able to use the same details as yesterday to get tickets. This being true I guess they have no record of who applied or how to email them

    I'm glad I don't work in the cinema's :eek:
    It will be carnage on the nights of the screenings !!!
    If I did I think i would throw a sickie :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    It might be a publicity stunt though ? Thousands turn up to see film and can't get in, riots in the streets etc etc
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    It's not just about the money
  • I suppose a screenshot saying '[My name] has secured VIP access to the hottest event of the year Bruno' should form a worthy case to Advertising Standards Authority?

    In no way they can get away so easily. Without apologies, just plainly denial of responsibility.
  • This is when a promo goes bad. So, they design a fancy personalised site, give out free tickets (supposedly) to get WOM (word-of-mouth), then they muck it up and don't confess by trying to cover their tracks (badly!). If i was Universal I would be worried about the backlash from this and would be doing everything in my power to think about what I can do to sort this out.

    I got a ticket on Monday - no confirmation e-mail, but my name was on it ('branded' in SFF's terms), but no cinema or time ('unbranded') - so do I have a valid ticket or not?

    Also, if the screening was full on Monday, why did they send an e-mail round 30 minutes ago asking people to apply for the last few tickets?

    Come on SFF and Universal - you need to sort this out BEFORE the screening and the angry mobs descend on poor cinmea staff.

    This whole escapade, regarding the Bruno free screening, is a shambles and disgrace.
    I checked this site earlier this morning......no news since yesterday!!!
    Now just learned of the 'Mistake'. Of course......there is going to be a riot on 30th at all the cinemas showing the film. People put themselves out to travel to the cinema, even for a freebie!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    I'm miffed to think people who grabbed the last few tickets realising the mistake .....managed to get the legit ones with all named detail.....what a joke!!!!
    :heart2: Kittycoocat :wink:
