I guess there's also no need to give them your real DOB although I never thought of that (as long as you make it so you're over 18!)

was just going to write about this, you were probably first one in as the guy kept telling everyone to go to screen 3 (we went to the screening on the 9th on broad st so not sure if the same date). we walked into screen 3 to find a film in progress, thought they'd started early again like they did with shifty a month or so go back, but they guy was adamant the film was in 3 and it would be on after whatever was already on. went back to the desk at 6.35 and he was now telling people to go to screen 9 and got no apology, went to see terminator in the end as was fed up with them.

Not happy with this offer.

Not received confirmation email and tickets are still available, no location, number of people on ticket, no time, or date either. I don't think they are entrance tickets at all.

I read the original newspaper offer that stated you had the chance to win tickets and as such, I'd suspect that proper tickets will be emailed to the email addresses of the prize draw winners.

I just smell a rat here....

These are real tickets. I've just chosen 6 cinemas at random and all their tickets have gone.

By chance they would mean that not everyone gets tickets. It's first come first served, not a competition.
The reason people aren't getting tickets is because the employees at SeeFilmFirst are hardly tech experts. They had to hire a firm to make their original site, and they've effectively copied across the site when they've made Tellten and now IWantToSeeBruno. But they've done a sloppy job in both instances, both having issues relating to email confirmations and printing.

For all those who are dubious about the authenticity of IWTSB, don't be so ridiculous. Just because a site asks for a mobile number does not mean that it is malicious. A quick WhoIs search easily reveals that the site is legit. Don't try to scare people when you don't know what you're talking about.

erm.. right... I wasn't trying to scare people. There are many people who would rather not give their mobile number out though unless it's necessary so i was just pointing out there's no reason to put your real one in this instance. Considering they aren't even offering the option of SMS tickets any more they have no reason to request your mobile number anyway.

Anyway moving on I think the Bruno screening will be fine and most people will just go to the cinema they think they got tickets for anyway. As long as you get there on time (preferably slightly early) I reckon most people will get seats.

I wasn't referring to your post bm, but yes everyone should be fine. Just make sure you all get there as early as you can. 6pm to be sure.
