    This question turns up time and again on this board, yet forum users who have actually gained from these services are conspicuously absent.

    Without testimonials, which are independently corroborated, I would steer well clear ;)
    People who don't know their rights, don't actually have those rights.

    It will affect your credit rating and so it should.
    The compensation culture in the UK is going to die a terrible and painful death, sooner rather than later I hope so best just try and pay off what you can or if you cant afford it you should maybe consider bankruptcy.
