    afternoon all.

Finished the teaching prep (well, for now, the weekly stuff will continue), just need to go to work tomorrow, print it all off and do photocopies, so that's a few trees worth of paper then!

Went to get my purse from my ex's house. The bedroom was, to put it mildly, soggy :( The ceiling is still in one piece, which is a small positive, but cracked and has various screwdriver holes in it from last night, but the carpet still had standing water and the bed is like a water bed now. Unfortunately, the front 2 drawers in the divan took quite a bit of water and his quite large record collection from the early 80s is quite soggy in places :(

I went into the spare bedroom, and there has been lots of water down the wall, so both bedrooms will need decorating. I've had a quick scan through the insurance and he seems pretty much covered for everything.

The only under thed bed drawer which seemed to escape any water whatsoever contained a rather impressive DVD porn collection which I was rather surprised to find, as there is , erm, quite a lot of it!!!

    Afternoon all.....
I too come from a family of finish whats on your plate... I actually had to show my Dad my plate before I could put anything in the bin... however I was very lucky that my Sister and foster brother would eat what I didn't want usually the meat as I didn't like to chew in fact I was a lazy eater so they ate most of it..... well the main dinner not the desserts as I could always manage those.......lol
This all change once I had my first Son and found the appetite of an elephant..... I have changed all that and now I like to leave something on my plate as a teat of willpower or something like that........

He's a long lean gangly individual and I'm not sure, even at the age of 50+ that he's got full control of his body - he twitchs and grunts like nobodies business! Think Scarecrow from Wizard of oz with Tourettes:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks Luc, it was nearly me wearing a cup of tea then

Back from the dentists (obviously) good news to say how looooong it has been since my last visit :o I need 2 fillings that I knew about and only 1 other small filling. :T So apart from needing a good clean, my oral health isn't too bad :D:D:D

I like reading about the running/health aspect, it is inspiring me to set foot on the treadmill that is giving me the evils from the other side of the kitchen. I have read the running thread, but I feel like a fraud as I don't run.

Bookie, had any offers yet at 80k ;)
Maybe you need to think Amsterdam and display your wares a little in the window, go on, show a feather or 2.

Back from work and chilling now before I have to think about what I am about to feed the fussy 2 in my house for supper tonigh.

Maz, have you tried to cut down on your bread intake. I find I have a slight intollerance to wheat in bread and if I cut it out and replace with pasta rice I loose so much more weight. Might be worth a try insted of cutting down all carbs
