Of course you can say you were sceptical Maz, lol, I'm not offended. I am still sceptical sometimes. :rotfl: (He was just supposed to be a bit of fun to get me through my marriage break up, and I think he thought the same about me :D). Not sure how it ended up this serious!

Sammy, I'm not sure if you were there or if you arrived a bit later, just after he had gone - we went for a drink together in the pub near Bunny's and he dropped me off at her house, so Maz and Bunny both saw him, but very briefly and from a distance.

Snags when I finally dumped my ex i was in a bit of a mess. It was one of those highly addictive relationships which was no good for me at all. I adored him though despite all of the crap. But finding out he shagged a 19 year old on boxing day while I was entertaining his family was the final straw.

Anyway, Fran was my rebound man. At first he was my 'I'll show you I'm going to get on with my life without you man' then he was my 'no matter how much you beg I'm going to make you suffer first man' then somehow I fell in love with having loads in common with him and for the first time in my life I had someone who understood my job, the time away and the stupid hours.

    So, I married him :)

Incidentally I still to this day get the I miss you and will never love anyone like I loved you texts from the ex.

Ouch at the 19 year old. :o

Nice to hear 'Mr Rebound' can become 'Mr Permanent' though, thanks - you two seem to have such a lovely relationship. :)

I never really had anything in common with Stu, which didn't seem to matter when things were good, but recently we just couldn't find anything to talk about. We sat in silence most nights and although the relationship wasn't appallingly bad (we didn't have lots of huge rows etc), we bickered constantly and everything we did had started to irritate each other.

I think I'll always love him, I'm just not IN love with him any more.

With D, we have sooooo much in common, and such similar outlooks on life. It will be one of those relationships that will either be amazing and last a lifetime, or we will drive each other insane and it will be over very quickly. It's fantastic at the moment though. :D
