Actually I've been thinking about your static weight. It might be because your body is getting used to the routes you're doing and the pace youare running at.

I could believe this if i was starting to find it easier, but it's still a major effort involved...

In the pool you might want to try 'running' a length or 2 (fab leg and abs toning btw) then swim 5 or do a length just arms or just legs every now and then (good for showing where any inefficiencies are in your stroke...) Sorry if I'm suggesting things you already know....

Wouldn't i look like a right pleb if i run up the pool!! My swimming is already below standard...... Funny thing this morning, the pool was empty so i was merrily swimming along minding my own business, and tried a length of crawl... i stopped when i realised that it sounded like i was drowning... i was glad when someone else came in and i wasn't the only person making splashing noises....

i hope swiming in general is helping my core muscles, although i do spend time in evening doing crunches to try and help...

i'm sure to get past the muscle weighs more than fat phase soon! lol!!

The running in the pool is a bit daft looking but it is surprising how much hard work it is.

And you might think the running is still a big effort but I suspect a lot is psychological (and look how well you've progressed) but your bodily will be burning fuel more efficiently. Another thought is to shift your protein/carb ratios in favour of proteins...

    Anyhoo, I'll butt out now:o

Bookseller - £80k sounds a little cheap to me...

i'm doing this cut it out one thing at a time thing....

first it was up the exercise, slight loss
    ditch contraception hormones... slight loss
ditch the fizzy diet juice... too early to tell......

next i will consider ditching the carbs... well a bit! although it would be hard!

I try not to eat carbs after 7pm (well in 'normal times' anyway - anything goesat the minute:p ) and make sure I have protein at every meal (not necessarily meat though)

Do your clothes feel different even though the number on the scales isn't moving? Because as you say, muscle is denser than fat so you might be tighter if not lighter?

i should put that on my siggy!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Clothes feel a bit better, but not majorly so... down 1 size i'd say.... not enough for all the effort!

Water intake is up up up, as diet juice intake has gone down. i know that should help... as sammy says the more you drink the more you shrink! lol
