I think you must have missed the 5000 times he was just a complete ars*hole
Its true the last month he was actually helping people (Probably to try and stop getting banned). Before that, all I ever saw was a guy being a complete c*ck:idea:0 -
Oh well, that would have freed up some space on the MSE Database Server then? :rotfl:DatabaseError wrote: »Asking too many questions...just like you're doing now!

I have no problem helping anyone (upto a point)
But your taking too much on what ive wrote when you shouldnt be jumping to conclusions. All ive said is what she did. Its not that. Its how she went about trying to get help AFTER that got a few peoples backs up. The way she went about it and the way she approached us wasnt particularly nice and I got the distinct impression that all was not as it seemed.
And for the record. (Though I cant remember how exactly), I WAS trying to help..........
erm.. i know.. i was agreeing with you, and putting my knowledge of what's happening into my own little story....
might as well shuffle off back to the apple mac threads.. much more civilised

No, there is a difference in babysitting a child and keeping them safe, what if your 12 year old daughter was talking to some queer on the net who was grooming her for rape and murder? A "computer program" could well prevent that from ever occurring.
All a moot point when considering the OP specifically. The OP changes her story more times than a indecisive crossdresser changes clothes. One of the first times she requested a keylogger (which despite supposed legitimate uses I'm pretty sure wouldn't be looked upon favourably by the forum rules) it was to "store her passwords in case she forgot them", when suitable password managers were suggested it was suddenly then to "monitor her child/children". Taking into account the multitude of requests for privacy software "to prevent hackers"(?!?) I very much doubt that the real reason has been given and what the OP is actually up to. The very fact they feel the need to suppy a false reason in the first place even assuming the second/third reasons are the real ones does cast doubt on their sincerity and the intention of legitimate use of any software."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Firstly, "some queer" on the internet would not be wanting to rape your DAUGHTER. I actually think that post is highly offensive to homosexuals to label them as rapists and groomers.
Secondly, it would not prevent anything. The time you spent trawling through logs could be spent WITH YOUR CHILD talking about dangers on the Internet.
Thirdly, if you look through the OPs posting history, they are a very dodgy character, always changing their story half way through a thread. They appear to be a very sinister character.
And lastly, Conor, I don't think anybody actually knows, but it should have been done a year ago when his attitude started coming across strongly in some posts. He got away with murder on here sometimes. Not just the techie forum either.0 -
Leopard, I am pleased to accept your appology, and do hope you recover soon.Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.0
