I won't watch anymore now. And I gave up on "Property Ladder" a couple of series back.
Detached from reality, not changing with the times, carry on regardless as if nothing has changed.0 -

The housing market has COLLAPSED !0 -
That fella was an embarrassment to the whole of the male gender. I would have kicked her sorry ArZe into touch ages ago, she was hardly the 'catch of the day'. I could have understood it if she looked like Cheryl Cole, but she looked more like Bruce Forsyth.
What has happened to 'real' men these days, it was like he was been taken to school by his mum and being told off for being a naughty boy most of the time. Never mind who was wearing the trousers that guy was still in short pants.0 -

I found figs from Media Week for one of their programmes in Feb 08. They were getting just under 3m viewers, a market share of just over 12% of viewers watching. Grand Designs was also seen as a channel 4 stalwart in the article which can be found here:

The average for 2007 was 3.6m according to the Guardian, here, which also reported a much higher 2008 programme peak than for the edition above:

In terms of the current series, figs for the top 30 shows (which it should figure in if it has continued to do well) will be on the BARB website in a week or so, in order that you can compare. https://www.barb.co.uk
Channel 4's media sales division has its own page for the programme, which says that it is aimed at ABC1 housewives, which may be why they focused on the woman's views. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Never have I been as stunned by what this couple bought in the end! Whatever was the appeal of a grotty bungalow on a slope near a main road - that they tore down inside and thought it would take 60-70k to develop! Anyone with any sense would have pulled it down and started again.
Anyone with sense would not have bought it at all at the price they paid. The vendor must be rubbing his hands to get rid of it.
I live in the North Somerset area and am going to try and find out where they are and how its all going! Watch this space - I think I know where it is.........0 -

Most people manage without K & P, though.......much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
If my wife hates the place then it is a sure indication to buy, I have bought 3 properties in recent times that she hated when I bought them, prior to being refurbed, and always ignored everything she says.
Um. For once, I'm lost for words.......much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

"Although the market is in turmoil, thousands of you are desperate for us to help you find a new home"
Seems you are wrong NDG, either we can't find a house ourselves, or we just want to be on the telly. :rolleyes:Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
It did make me laugh how far away the blokes shed was from the house hilarious.
But I can't wait for the Beeny to come back on telly, and my boyfriend likes watching her too for some strange reason0
