I love it! Whatever they cost then, whatever they cost now, it's still nosing round other people's houses, and I love it!:j

Same here. Great to see how other people decorate their homes.

And I am not sure why some are moaning about Kirsty being pregnant again?!! She is of an age that it often occurs, and it was only her 2nd!!

The woman tonight was a prime example of why so many have got themselves into debt. I couldn't believe how she was saying about replacing floors and carpets in a 5 year old house straight away! She seemed to have no conception of waiting and living with things that were not essential, even necessary in this case, and it was all about what she wanted.

She made herself look a right fool on national TV, and hopefully will learn something from it! I just hope her husbands job is secure and their income doesn't drop, as she looks like someone who will need a lot of money in her life in order to have the perfect home at all times, with no scratches, lumps or bumps.

didn't you say she was pregnant?

that suggests a certain amount of being in the same room (-:
Getting an annoying bird up the duff probably comes under the heading of "quiet life". He built himself a work shed ... waaaaaay down the garden. A good solid man shed :)

Having her up the duff doesn't ensure they stay together. What if she churns out a row of little demanding girls, just like mum!

He'll be tunnelling out of that shed and awaaaaay ... across the fields .. freeeeee.

Perhaps she is the one with the money?
    Good thinking.

    Money seemed no object.

When she said what she had to have, he said very little.

Did you see the size of that "tool" shed, massive !!

He was also building another office shed at the bottom of the garden to escape.

For those that missed it, Phil did say the market had turned. I can't remember the exact term, being only semi sentient at the time. It was only the demanding female that kept me awake & amused, but even so, I seem to have absorbed the basics. The compliant bloke was in IT and I think he worked in the Reading area. With any normal person's luck, he'll be burned out in ten years and never see his Cornish sailing pad.

The extent of Kirsty & Phil's 'influence' was surely revealed when the couple went off and bought that awful bungalow, on an alpine slope, next to a busy road. I think they deserved it, and each other.

For sure, but still, they must have been in the same room at some point, for.... ooohhh.... 2 minutes or so?

    Hmm what a fat useless c-n-u-t !

And Kirsty seemed a bit podgy too.

Honestly - what did the hubby get? No home in cornwall just a shed. Although a ridiculous idea it made sense in the end to not do that - he is still a loser.

That woman was just selfish and rude while Kirsty was still trying to ramp the Clevedon home as an investment - instead of a HOME. What do you expect from a snotty spoilt daddy's girl.
At least her younger sister isnt quite as jarring.

It would make more interesting TV if Phil argued with her more and was the voice of reason vs the greedy stupidity - but C4 wont do that.

Property Ladder is far more entertaining for two very obvious reasons!

You really liked her, didn't you?
