Don't spend too much of your time looking at other people's grand and impressive houses for their poultry. You'll just end up getting 'henvious'.

Another program that everyone can relate to. :rotfl:

MD of insurance company who jetsets around world, wife & children moving to Harrogate & he needs a flat in London during week.
Notice after it was stated how much they'd spent on doing it up, it was mentioned that they'd lost money on the price they'd paid?

Sheds can be pretty nice. I've probably lived in worse accomodation as a student. Lost in Rates, treat your chuckies to a summerhouse for £300:

I'm a Relocation avid viewer - I don't swallow half the crap on there about owning a home being a magical solution to the world, I suspect I watch it for the same reason a lot of people do - because I find it blooming hillarious how half of the couples on the show are living in cloud cuckoo land and the ridiculous budgets they have.... and cos you get an excuse to be nosey about people's decor which is always a good thing. It's just mindless fluff viewing really - I don't sit and watch it and feel inferior because I don't have money for a country home and crash pad in the country - I sit and watch it and laugh at the stupid requirements of some of the couples on there.

If you're ever at home during the day - there's a steady diet of this sort of stuff on - not just Phil and Kirsty but stuff like Homes under the Hammer that I personally think is more damaging in the fact it gives people the impression that any idiot with a bit of MDF can become a "property developer" and make a killing.

I can't believe Ch4 put an OLD, ancient Relocation at prime time, 8 pm. I saw this one at least a year ago.
