I have just read this on Hotukdeals and thought I'd post it here on the Boots thread
A four-pack of Duracell AA batteries costs £3.71 at Boots, but Boots are selling them with 100% extra free and buy 2, get 3rd free. I bought 3 packs of 4 (plus 4 free) for the price of 2, which is £7.42.
Hi, do the sets go through without a beep? I was thinking of getting some on their own on the self service, so would 4 sets cost £14.67 (SEL says £4.89 each, 3 would be £14.67 then get one free for spending over £12 on S&G)? Hope that works but that means £3.67 each, how did you get yours so cheap??Thanks.
HI clare...
They were reduced to £2.50 in my local boots.....so naturally, i bought them.
along with the above, i also bought:
2 tubs of mediterranean body butter for £1.88 each
3 vicks vapo-rub for £1.08 each
5 boots expert anti-blemish cleansing foam £1.50 (BOGOHP - but i didnt realise this until i checked my receipt)
3 bottles of Elvive anti dandruff shampoos (blue bottles) - BOGOF - again, i didnt realise this so i missed out on one free bottle
2 bottles of clairol shampoo - reduced to £1 each, (the orange bottle with a starfruis picture on it)
after i checked my receipt and realised the missed bargains, i wanted to go back and get the free shampoo, but decided not to, as i am already quite well known in my local store - i dont want to do anything that will further promote my popularity...... (the security guard tails me around the store).0 -

Sometimes i actually wonder if they think i am a shoplifter cos it takes me so long to decide what to spend my precious blinkies on and i feel so pressured when they are standing behind me and persistantly asking if i need any help.
Does anyone else ever find that?
