I was in stirling store yesterday having a browse and saw the toy barbie phone down to £3 and the Tag system books were also £3. I spoke to my friend there and she said instore sale is definitely the 14th but some toys are already 75% off. She also said that they've been told by mini mode that they are still ok, but I dont know how or for how long since they're owned by adams. The mini mode consultant said she was worried she was going to come in and find a letter saying reduce everything, we're shutting down but thats just speculation. I did notice that a poster that was up in boots three weeks ago advertising a job with mini mode had been taken down and the position hasn't been filled so I dont know what the score is but I'm expecting some bargains there!

Hi JPop how is the Bootsing going ? Nice to see you are keeping up. Lots of mens sets in Speke, thought none of the No7 mainly Hacket and the posh shampoo sets. There was Mens stuff as well in M and S clearance. They seem to have put some more mens things on . com as well.

As far as what I read on the BBC website the other week. Minimode are safe as it is a joint venture between adams and Boots. Therefore if Boots owns half of mini mode it is a seperate entity than adams and both sides have to agree before closing etc.

Hi Emmy, work keeps me too busy most days to get to go boosting, but I try to keep up to date with this thread and always post when I can.

There`s a newish store opened in Aintree which is quite nice, didn`t have much sale stock left but alot of empty shelves so more stock may be coming?
Last couple of visits where to C Square, they have masses of giftsets left, both downstairs and up. I couldn`t see any Olay GWP`s there though! That`s where the mens No7 was scanning at £4.93 instead of £6.23 ?

Off today with DS so may hit Speke on the way to Chesire Oaks, and of coures the Boots in the Coliseum.;)

Can someone please clarify the Olay GWP trick. Am I right to presume that it goes through with any Olay purchase instead of the minimum spend they usually need?

Also does the Pantene 100 points just get added automatically or do you need a voucher?

Oh forgot to mention I tried to see if a blinkey would work on the No7 purse sets yesterday and no, it beeped.but got in anyway as there was only a couple left so half price is 7.50 went outside to the car took out the coupon from the purse (carefuly as it was for a friends birthday) and used the blinkey I got from buying it to get a reduced No7 face cream for free and get 250 points from my coupon so converted to boots curency (what's that the bootso I suppose current exhange rate of 4 to the pound and presumably after looking at the back of coupons 5 to the euro) thats the purse for £5 and £4.80 face cream free, bargain.:j

Now eeek! must get changed or realy will be in big trouble

They had some clearance toys in Speke yesterday, I spotted a Hanna Montana doll and microphone if she is into that, my two already have them and love the microphone sing along thing it drives me mad but they think they are great singers .

Hi, the Olay GWP scans at 0.00p so you will get it for free, this will depend on SA and so some people buy Olay wipes to disguise the fact.

The 100 points is added automatically at the till with any Pantene or Herbal Essence purchase.

The Olay GWP is actually scanning at £0.00 - so doesn't technically speaking need any Olay purchase. Most peeps here seem to be buying Olay wipes £2.93 when trying for the GWP, just so it doesn't look weird. Or put the Olay GWP through on self scan.

The 100 Pantene points are added automatically at the tills when you purchase any Pantene product, including minis. Pantene sachets are cheapest at 97p. Herbal Essences is also getting you 100 points automatically added at the till, and reports have been coming in that this works with reduced Herbal Essences too (as their packaging is changing).
