Boots in Waterfield Retail Park, Watford, has reduced some No 7 sun products and also some No 17 sun products, because they are no longer stocking the stuff.

I bought (not actually paid for)2 lots of 3 x No7 Protect & Perfect Skin Soothing Aftersun 200ml @ £2.21 each, on 342, used a blinke and also a 250 points from the gold bag.

The SA kindly told me that they went through on 342. They also had loads of No7 Firm-Your-Body Tan Maintainer, No7 Protect & Perfect Aftersun 50ml and another No7 sun product which I can't remember (sorry).

    In No17 there was

Lasting Glow Wear Off Self Tan Skin Tint Gel

17 Instant Glow Wash Off Leg Bronzer

    and 17 Bronzing Pearls

I cannot remember the prices of these, because I had no need for them.

In the aisle with the nail care stuff, lots of other brands with reductions too, Sally Hansen, JK, et al. but be quick..... while I was there 4 or 5 SAs dashed over and picked up bits, other customers didn't seem to realise yet. hth

These were not reduced in Bristol Broadmead today but they were in Bristol Cribbs yesterday. when I asked the No 7 SA why she said they are going to be reduced but not yet. She said that the other stores shouldn't have reduced them yet!!! Glad I got a bagful yesterday!!!!!:T

Ok ladies I am the first person (I think :o ) to ask a SA for "My blinkie"

Picture the scene, went to SS till with 3x reduced N07 nail varnishes and 1 x pantene sachet & 2 toothpaste to bring total to £5 for another blinkie ;)
Scanned my sachet 2 of the varnishes. The 3rd one scanned full price so lovely SA voided it and re-scanned. Same again, full price, but the till froze  I was so so embarrased :o

Over we go to main till, scanned all again and paid. I realised I never got my blinkie so off I went back to SA and said, "Excuse me, I never got my blinkie and I spent over £5"
    SA - "Sorry, what's a blinkie?"
Me - "What you get when you spend £5 or more"
    Que blank expression from SA
Me - "Sorry, I mean the No7/Eye voucher"
SA - (with very worried look on her face) "Oh I see, yes of course here you are" (after opening her till)

So there you go Sandra you are now famous much to my embarrassment though :o

Too many late nights me thinks. I'm becoming blingual in Boots language :D

    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Ps will post my shopping lists soon :D

I remembered this and got the clarifying shampoo price checked in Bristol Cribbs - still full price there, unfortunately!

Clare - I don't know if you saw my post last night, I had visited Cribbs yesterday and had a fab shop!!! They had cotton wool pads, 120 in a pkt for 20p. Also I got a load of No 7 accessories on the nail section, 3 for 2 and used blinkies. I'm afraid I took the last 2 Pantene sachets last night!!! Some JK stuff was reduced in the nailcare section also. I got another 6 vouchers somehow from last night's shop and used 2 and went home with 4!!! I got a customer survey also!!!:T
  • Popped to my local medium boots after work and before kiddies bathtime - managed to get my face cream:j 2 x Hydro Quench and 1 x Time resist day cream on 342 and with blinkie - am so chuffed so ta for the info on this one. There were none left on the no7 counter and the lady said she had none left but found them on the additional promo stands at the end of the isles and were at the back behind the new ones so may need to search if your after these.

No pantene sachets just two empty boxes - there must be some Teesside Bootsers out there;) , introduce yourselves I don't bite too hard and we can share tips:cool:.

OMG !!! Me too!!! I called it a blinkie in boots today..

I went to the one in Hounslow - not my local but have been doing some work there so only second time in - for any locals there is a good discount rack as you go into the store first aisle on right after registers all the way on the end of that aisle. From what I could see they had loads of lipsticks and tons of other bits, however there were 3 lovely little ladies that were having none of it, and united in elbows, and kept me out!

Here is my question? There was a sign that said 2 for 4quid on the 400mls bottles of pantene shampoo and conditioner. I grabbed 4 shampoos and 4 sachets. In made my way to the checkout and asked the SA if I could do 2 transactions for 2 blinkies (that was were it started to go all wrong) after she realized I wasn't totally mental she did it for me but was all put out about it. Well the pantene didn't come up 2 for 4quid and I couldn't chance having the SA use the evil stare so I just took my stuff and scurried out. Anyone else seen the 2 for 4quid sign.. what did I miss? Or might we be lucky enough for it to be coming? 2 for 4quid and 100 points each had me sooo excited!

    thanks!

Does anyone know if the blinkie works when purchasing a ruby and millie cosmetics bag - the purple or gold one please?

    Many thanks
    Aggie
    :j

If you haven't had a reply to this already I can confirm that you do get £5.00 off the purple and gold makeup bags as I bought the purple one the other day ... had to pay £3.81 to make the balance though as was £8.81.

Hahaha my mum and dad cannot believe the stuff I am getting from Boots lately - they say the shop will go out of business if this carries on!!!! But Mr Boots is clever, so although we are getting lots of great /free deals we are also spending and keeping his tills ringing!!!
