    Hi :)

Nice to see another Coventry Bootser

I don't suppose you noticed if they had the Protect & Perfect set in the sale did you? :)
U/f not, I wanted this one too, but they were restocking the shelves when I went in today tho.

About 10 billion of the Baileys gift sets tho

I also asked my fav SA today and she said the 14th, then got her memo out from under the counter to check and confirmed its the 14th. Also she told me the 90% is the 28th.
    HTH

That confirms exactly with what my friend told me :j :j #1374.

right fellow bootsters - I did my first 'proper' bootsing trip today and I just had to report back:

    Shop 1
£10.16 on 'mother and baby essentials'
got normal points, plus 200 extra for spending over £10.
    got a blinkie

    Shop 2
    £4.xx on arnica tablets
    £0.59 on dextrose energy tablets
    total - £5.xx
Got normal points and a blinkie

    Shop 3
£8.xx aromatherapy clary sage essential oil
    got normal pts and blinkie

    Shop 4 and 5
spent blinkie on No 7 intelligent moisturiser fluid (reduced) £0

    Shop 6
spent last blinkie on No 7 minerals blusher £3.xx
    normal points and GWP

I'm so pleased as I only bought things I needed, got two free moisturisers, GWP, extra pts and a cheap treat in the blusher! Not as good as others perhaps - but for a newbie I'm impressed - thanks for teaching me :D

I have to say that the SA's at straiton, edinburgh were really lovely and soooo helpful. The No 7 counter has lots of sun stuff reduced as well as some odd bottles on a stand on the right of the main door as you go in. I hope this helps someone else :D

Did you get a chance to try buying the Pro V clarifying shampoo again.
If so was it still going through at 47p, then giving out the 100 points.

Has anyone else who spotted Mariae's post been out today and tried buying it.
Just wanted to know if this does work. TIA :)

I had this priced last Night In Speke retail Park and it was £1.75 or £1.85 (not sure which exactly) Not 47p unfortunately

Had some good shops today but couldn't find any reduced No7 in Brum High Street or Walsall nor any Olay GWP

    Shop 1
    No17 mascara - £4.69
No17 bronzing shimmer dust - £4.39 but BOGOF on No17
    No7 Men's H and B wash - £6.36

Uesd Blinkie, 250 points on No7 men from GWP and 100 points when buying No17 mascara from the ACM

Handed over points coupons first and SA asked if I had a £5 voucher - I handed it over but asked her to scan the coupons forst and she said it wouldn't make any difference - and it didn't!

Paid £6.05 (from Gift card for £10 that BIL sent me for my birthday)
    Received blinkie and 350 points
    saved £9.39

    Shop 2
    UG Makeover spray £4.88
    UG Blow dry spray £4.69

    on 2 for £6

found Ruby and Millie lipliners reduced to £2.33 each so got 2 of those (there were no signs for 750 points when you buy 2 ruby and millie and nothing came up on the receipt) (normally about £10 each?)

Pantene hair mask sachet - no signs about 100 points so wanted to check it worked - 97p (whoever was asking earlier - this was in High Street - there were quite a few on the very bottom shelf)

    Take a break magazine - 78p

Used blinkie - giving me the 2 R and M lipliners free - it deducted £4.66
250 points on R and M (from Red Gift case) - meaning they paid me 250 points to take 2 lipliners away! How good would it have been if I had got the 750 as well! I didn't think I'd push it and ask. This would not scan but SA said no reason why not and put it in manually
150 points from ACM on UG
    100 points on Pantene automatically

Thus spent £7.75 (used up the remaining £3.95 on gift card)
    512 points
    gained blinkie
said saved £8.23 but actually knowing the price of R and M more like £24

Then found a Clinique Happy set on the counter without a price - nice SA checked it for me and was excited for me when it came up as 1174 points reduced from 1762. Used points for that - 15 ml Happy spray, cute little silver wallet/case for mobile or ipod with a mini Happy rollerball and mini lipgloss attachment. Very nice!

    Then off to Walsall

Still no Olay GWP or reduced No7

    Got
    Shop 3
Imperial Leather muscle relax bath stuff for hubby - half price - 73p
(all these were half price including some nice girly ones like the Japanese spa one - so if you like these keep an eye out)
No7 protect and Perfect Lipcare - I need this with the recent cold weather - £8.56

    Pantene Sachet 97p

Used blinkie, 250 points on No7 from gold GWP, 100 automatic on Pantene

    Paid £5.26, got 350 points, saved £5.73

So spent in total £19.06 - £10 of which was a gift card
    Got 1212 points
and I still have a blinkie and 250 points left to use

Am I getting good at this? Am I? :j

I think you're getting very good at this :rotfl: !!!!

I am finding it impossible to keep up with Boots Grabbit threads. I spend whole evenings just trying to catch up while just as many pages are being added as I'm reading!

Can anybody suggest the most productive time to properly keep an eye on the thread? Are most offers changed over monthly or are new vouchers etc issued more often?

    Evening Lady Friends,

Hope you are all OK and are having a lovely week so far.

Quick update about Daddy. He is doing just fine. Had a really bad day yesterday, but he is a fighter. Thanks for all your continuing well wishes and thoughts. You're a bunch of honeys.

If anyone is after the SOAP AND GLORY gift set with that dodgy PINK GLOVE, they have about 12 sets in the Dewsbury store. Also saw heaps of Pantene sachets, but some woman was cleaning most of them out.

If you are looking for the LAST CHANCE TO BUY NO 7 shelf, be sure to have a good wander around the store. The one in my local is hidden away in the corner and had tart loads of stuff on it, there was even some stuff at less than £5.00, so free all the way through! The woman on the NO 7 till didn't even know about the shelf.

Also saw heaps of stuff on the CLEARANCE pile that was all being reduced to 50p. Loads of ladies deodorants, and posh lotions and Aveeno and Vaseline and what not. Check it out at the Dewsbury store, near where the main tills are. Saw loads of Walkers crisps on reduced too, all in date, and bought the whole lot earning myself yet another BLUE. LOL. Oooops.

Have a good week all. Best wishes.

    Sending out a plea!

If anyone has any spare blinkies I will gratefully take them off your hands.

I am helping to arrange an event to raise money for Breast Cancer Care this year and have been buying bits and bobs when they are free or next to nothing so that they can be used a raffle prizes!

    Please PM me!!

    Thank you!

It's just pot luck, and the same for the rest of us. Just read it when you can, some bargains you will catch and some you will miss.

Some of them have to be explained a lot, and not everyone likes that. But the more you put into this thread the more you tend to get out.

Sometimes explaining how to get a particular item for x'££ is often like doing quadratic equations:eek:

This thread is rather like life, at times quite straighforward, but other times very complicated.
