Thanks Ikkle!!
Am back at work now so can only get to Boots once a week (how will I cope??) so I need to be prepared - its a bit like a military operation!!0 -
Cant remember who was looking for the Jelly Bean company merchandise but (a little off topic - apologies in advance) I saw a big jar of them in Julian Graves a few days ago.
There is no way staff would get a secret sale either unfortunatelynot even allowed to put anything aside as it might lose the company sales!

Does anybody know if there are any Olay GWP in and around Burton, Tamworth, Lichfield area, would really like one of these, but cant really afford to travel unless I know they are there.0

Forgot to say that I also managed to use 150pt from mailing for TS on a mini - no exclusions on voucher - just in case anyone else might want to try this. Bought TS mini hairspray £1.59 so by boots logic 9p!! Not the voucher from the ACM.
They had 2 maybe 3 Admit it S&G sets.
No olay GWP

Bought one, Dee bought 2, and then we both had to cart these round all day, and they are heavy! But got the train to Bond Street, and went to the Boots basement first.
There were Blinkies left all over the place, so we wombled away! They had loads of No 7 stuff that you can get for no/little outlay, as per the list, by Sophisticated so relieved them of a lot.
Went to the SS till, there was nice young man there, who said he'd do all the scanning. Said I had various "shops" for different people. Handed over my blinkie every time, and every time he put it in the slot, and each time he gave me another blinkie! :j
Thanked him profusely for helping me, and said he was a credit to Boots. :A
Then mosied along to the Olay aisle that was groaning with purple boxes, but also an Olay rep, who rubbed various lotions onto our hands, and then produced some cream that was about £20 and said if we bought that we'd get the GWP too. I told her I needed the wipes as well, and got these and 3 Pantene sachets.
Then we went back to the ground floor, put the £20 boxes on a handy stool, went to the till, and presented the sachets, then the wipes, then the GWP. No probs. Got another blinkie
Then we went to the top floor where all the sales stuff was being kept and saw - virtually nothing. I have no idea if they are going to get more stuff in, but I wasn't impressed - not for such a big store. When we got outside Dee said that she needed to get another Olay GWP as she has several birthdays to buy for this month, and not much money, so I gave her mine.
I've only got them as "cheer up" pressies anyway, and she was very happy! Had our meal deal, sitting outside Debenhams, then went to see Buddy again with our OAP tickets, (excellent - we know all the words!), had a 2 for 1 salad at GWP, and then came home.
Day off tomorrow to recuperate! Hope everyone's well.
That R & M/No 7 list is excellent, as you can see at a glance what you can get for nothing, for under £1 and under £2. Then it would appear all the No 7 is on 3 for 2, and us Ol' Gels get another 10% deducted.
I agree with what another poster said. If someone has gone to the trouble of listing something that may be of interest to you, print it out, and carry it round with you.
Many thanks Sophisticated, and I won't tell you off for not revising!
I have thoroughly enjoyed reading about your day Sandra! You are such a cheerful and jolly person, and as i mentioned last night- you really brighten up peoples' day!
I have to admit, I had been starting to wonder this evening why there had been no signs of you today- and then I had a smile on my face as I read your post.
I am so glad you found a handy stool to use to provide a seat for the unwanted olay boxes :rotfl: And how kind of you to give your friend your gwp!
I am glad you had a lovely day, and I look forward to hearing of your future adventures!
Ps, have you ever considered 'Sandrascarlett: Diary of Blinkie Girl'? Would make a fascinating read!!!0 -
Did you get a chance to try buying the Pro V clarifying shampoo again.
If so was it still going through at 47p, then giving out the 100 points.
Has anyone else who spotted Mariae's post been out today and tried buying it.
Just wanted to know if this does work. TIA

Hey all,
I dont know if anyone has posted this before, but you can see for yourself when offers are gonna end.
If you see the displays with the offers on, so for example, "100 points when you buy any pantene product" you can look in the bottom right hand corner for the dates that they go to and from. so for example 01/01/09-27/01/09... so when it comes to buying your offers this may help you!
Hope nobody from boots minds me posting that - i always find it handy coz then I can pile up offers for one shop!0 -
Baby vouchers for exchange:
- save 5 when you spend 15 on baby products
- 4 coupons for Pamper (save 1, save 2, save 3,50)
- other not memorable
I would be happy to receive a blinky + 250 points voucher (but make an offer if you have something else nonbaby related)

Right, I am pretty sure that what I about to say is not illegal, or offensive to people, but if you do feel it is please let me know without quoting and I will delete.
I think I have a solution to losing things we really want out of our virtual baskets on .com. Only really works for those things that you would be willing to pay 1/2 price for although you may be waiting for the 75% sale.
For each item you have in your basket, change the total to 99. Then you will know how many are available to start with and then as they are purchased, the number in your basket will decrease. Then, if you really want something, you can buy it before it goes OOS.
I am sure that having 99 sets of Christmas tree shaped plates in my virtual basket will not mean that no-one else will be able to add them you their basket as loads of things have gone out of mine over the past few days as I have not checked out.
What do you think? would it work?VSP Challenge 2010 No 19 - £416.09 , 2011 No15 - £497.17, 2012 No9 - £146.52. 2013 No5 - £113.92SPC4 No1066 - £948.95,SPC5 No1066 - £659.49 (2 stone 13lbs)SPC6 No1066 - Pot 1 - 3.03b. Pot 2 - 3.05lb Pot 3 - 3.0lb0
