Hi all fellow crafters. Just found this site and have signed up. I know of a craft fair in Ballynahinch leisure centre in November. I exhibited there last year. Will find out date and put it on here.

Victoria Square Craft Fair

Visit Victoria Square’s Craft Fair, every Sunday throughout June, July and August. With a range of unique Glass, textiles, jewellery, wood, metal, ceramics, furniture, mixed media arts and crafts exhibited and available for purchase.
Sunday 1pm - 5.30pm
Sunday August 30th
Sunday September 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th
Sunday October 4th

newcastle was good i did junction one yesterday wasnt at a very good spot but did ok they are going to be doing a fair from oct 31 right through to jan so once i have details of that ill let you all know

HI Everyone, just thought I would let you all know that got info on craft fair in Banbridge today and thought it was bit expensive £40.00 for stall. had put my name down for it but then e-mailed Leah back and told her that I thought I was bit too expensive.

Does anyone think the same.

£40?????? That's very expensive for a table at a fair - you were just right to say no. The most I have EVER paid was £35 but that was to a special school and I didnt really mind, even though it was a rubbish turnout! One once asked for 20% of TAKINGS plus a donation to the ballot of at least £30 - we were raging and told them our takings were confidential. They then asked for 20% of PROFIT!! We told them this was even more confidential. They then asked for £20!!!! I think a lot of places aren't very experienced at organising fairs and just grasp at straws without asking around or using common sense. THink Ive posted here before on my Fair Bugbears such as no tea and coffee for stallholders, or places forgetting to advertise - LOL!! Dont get me going on that again!!!

I am about to draft an email/letter for schools in Belfast to get details of their Christmas or Halloween fairs. Was thinking it might be an idea to include details of any of us here who would be interested too - if you want to draw up a paragraph about what you sell as a word document, I can attach it to ours and send altogether? Pm me for email address if you would like to be included. Would like to get the emails/letters away this weekend!

Just wondering what you do if you hear that there are going to be other people doing the same as you at a fair? Do you go anyway or stay away?
