Hi, I have done a few car boot sales but only with my own/family articles. I found everyone wants it cheap ie a Pound or maybe a tiny bit more. I found public won't be prepared to pay as the stigma with car boot is "Get a bargain". They are prepared to pay at craft fairs though. I can give you details of a few car boots I have attended if interested.0

Hi, quick route to beersbridge road. Coming up Newtownards rd from M3 turn right at 1st traffic light to Templemore ave, cross lights at top, take left lane onto Beersbridge rd. Not a long road. Hope this helps. If not let me know direction you are coming from & I'II do my best to direct. Happy crafting!0

My experience of car boot sales is not good. Really only any good if you dont mind what you sell things for. People want things for nothing!:mad:0 -
I would second that, bead mad. Apart from anything else, you have slaved to make something lovely or are selling something new and fabulous and then you would have to stand in the cold in a car park, in the rain, with hundreds of people carrying rubbish in old plastic bags and arguing with sellers over a 50p reduction in price...they have their place and I love them for the banter and a browse, but wouldnt lower myself or my stock to going through that, unless it is old stuff from my garage!!Feel free to thank me, it makes my toes tingle and my ears go warm :T0

I make fresh evergreen Christmas wreaths with cones, cinnamon sticks etc, and am very interested in trying to sell them on a small scale at an upmarket christmas fair. Could anyone please suggest a good place to start? It would need to be an event at the very start of December or end of November.
Thanks a lot, good luck to everyone out there!
Hi, I started at church/school fairs to test the ground. I did contact Belfast City council re xmas market & St Georges market and was directed to European company who run City Hall Xmas market, the price for hiring a cabin etc was crazy for what I am selling. I just do ye old stall fairs now at church etc, & find older people who can't travel too far love them & are inclined to buy because goods are hand made. Good luck0 -
