Hi there, Does anybody know anything about selling alocoholic products at craft fairs? Do you know if you need a licence to do this and if so, what type of licence? My friend and I make homemade liqueurs and we have tried to find out about licensing, but there is so much inofrmation it is hard to work out exactly what we require....
Can anyone help???

Re setting up a regular fair, we would definitley be up for that. I think monthly or even quarterly(if they were big enough) would be more manageable... Don't know about the rest of you, but finding time to make stock with a full time job on the go isn't always easy!!!

Have sent bulk mailing to local schools so will let you know - have already added Belmont above - its usually a pretty good one, Ive done it a few years now.

I take it that is Belmont Primary School?
Was just googling it to see where it was, it doesnt look too hard to find so I might try that if i can get someone to navigate for me!!!!!!!!:rotfl:

Yes, Belmont Primary is on the Belmont Road, although the fair is usually at the Belmont Presbyterian Church Hall just around the corner. Good parking and its a nice big hall too.

Check out this site - Belmont Tower (next to Belmont Primary School) are looking for crafters for a monthly craft and farmers market - sounds fabulous - contact Leanne via the site, and complete the form to be added to their list of crafters. Leanne says she has had a great response so far and is planning 2 December fairs, one on the 1st Saturday and possibly another on 23rd December in the evening - very festive. All crafters will be inside, thank goodness!!

Hi I am new to site but would be very keen to attend regular fairs.

I normally attend church fairs but would like to attend larger fairs in Down/Antrim.

One fair I am aware of at the present is:

St Marks Parish, Newtownards. 28 Nov 09 11am - 3pm. £20 a stall. Contact Stmarksnewtownards.co.uk

Would anyone have information on the Rowallane Gardens Xmas market. I tried contacting the National Trust but got no reply. Thanks

Hi Craftfreddie! Think the Belmont one is usually £20-£25 and it is on 17th October.
