Not as busy as expected but ok. I'm not there tomorrow but if the forecasted showers come it may be busier - too sunny today everyone on the beach lol! Lovely to meet Supermum and Belle today - I was about to go round each stall asking if they were on here but they introduced themselves luckily before I made a prat of myself!!:rotfl:
Life's a box of beads - rainbow coloured and full of surprises!:D
  • We had a good day at Newcastle, although it was VERY LOOOONNNNGGG...I think fairs that are 11-3 are plenty long enough - we were wilting by 4pm! Still, it was a steady run of people buying so we were pleased, lovely venue and free tea and coffee, which is always a nice thing!
Am about to list fairs in date order as I was a bit boggled over by all the ones listed here. Feel free to add to it by inserting any info/dates you hear of!! I expect to hear about the school ones in and around Belfast over the next month and will be contacting them all, so be prepared for lots of evening and weekend dates to slot in around these - school fairs have always been pretty good for us, as long as you tailour your things to the kiddie market in terms of cost and appeal!!
Feel free to thank me, it makes my toes tingle and my ears go warm :T

  • re above event at Killyleagh. Is this date correct Sunday is 20th September!
There is Country comes to Town on Friday 18th September, I think 6 - 9, and
all day Saturday 19th in Portadown, sounds like fun, I think this is council run
maybe worth investigating. Chcck out site.
  • I am organising a 'Dog walk/Fun Day' on 2nd May next year. I hope to have a selection of craft stalls there, as well as loads of other attractions, however I don't know how this would work as far as licensing etc is concerned. I am meeting up with parks manager this week and would be grateful for any info
into the legality of having craft stall there.

Already checked out Portadown but was too late...all booked
  • Hi, I would be very interested in a regular monthly market. Let me know how things are progressing. I've just joined this site. So far it's a real find.
