Need to clear the front garden today - there's a good crop of dandelions sending their seeds out to the neighbourhood
And the one man neighbourhood watch is out for the day so it's safe
Need to clean the kitchen too........I perhaps should have done my potting outside:rotfl:
:rotfl::rotfl:
dont you just love nhw.....Nazi home watch wardens:rotfl:
leave the dandelions,,,,,read some where that their in short supply and used for some drug that used in cancer treatments of the bowl i think....
its your duty to project the dandelions for the empire!!!!!
still raining here ,,,,like the last two wks
today we have
scattered sunshine!!:j:jWAS DEBT FREE & STILL BAAARRRRRKING
hello my name is shaun,,,and im not so addicted to farmville, still addicted to football:o:o
BAAAARRRRRRRRRRKING er insanely so0 -
Went to church this morning, and on the way home took a photo of the place where I'm doing a MS on Tuesday - does anyone else hate photographing the places? I was using my mobile and as I held it up the blooming thing started ringing, I felt foolish as I must have looked a berk holding a phone to my eye to answer it. :rotfl:
And although I pottered in the front garden (I only removed some of the dandelions, let it not be said that I stood in the way of medical progress) the rest of the afternoon I have been cooking
I've made:
2 shepherds pies (see if anyone notices the oats )
24 cinamon buns for my lunches -only used half the mixture, the rest has been frozen
Stuffed mushrooms
Roasted squash (for my fave risotto recipe-roasted squash and blue cheese)
Apple cake
Bread crumbs from the stale bread - some used in the mushrooms, the rest frozen
chicken stock
But what I was supposed to make I didn't do,and will do tomorrow (the buns distracted me......)
And sadly, that was the last of my apples from last year - I hope this years crop is as good.0 -
I hope this years crop is good too Olive..nomnom.
Sounds like a productive day to me. My phone is sadly so bad and obsolete that it only rings 10 minutes after someone has phoned me. The children usually text me as it is quicker.Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
Homer Simpson had one with a dial :rotfl: DS1 thinks I may be better off with one of them :rotfl:My fingers are so fat I struggle with the wee buttons, I kept videoing the store......0

Well DS2 came home to help lop the silver birch, and failed abysmally.:p
And it has rained so I haven't been in the garden otherwise
But I sent this to Popeye (who has been at work :rotfl:)
It is raining so I'm tidying the futility room. The space that was occupied by your tools and the odd socks collection is now occupied by beer and the Lodgers laundry ingredients - so although I've regained the work surface I haven't gained storage space......
The odd sock moutain has been attacked and now I'm going to throw away about 100 odd socks........
(There are PLENTY of pairs in our drawers;))
And I've cleaned up the cat sick in the hall and in DS2's room, emptied the vaccuum cleaner  and stripped the bed ready to make it up for your mum.:D
And I've remotely sorted a computer problem that Pa was having.
And watched Kiera Knightly in Pride and Prejudicedrooling over Matthew :iloveyou: MacFadyen :rotfl:

I've got 100 odd socks too - do you reckon that between us we could pair some of them up?Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

:rotfl::rotfl:the sock mountain has gone
(It's in a carrier bag by the front door to go to one of those rag collecting points - funny how this last step may be a step too far :rotfl:~I must not falter, I must be strong, even though it has taken YEARS to amass this collection)
I watched *Loads* of telly yesterday (probably because I should have been working through my script:o) Thoroughly enjoyed Endgame especially as I recognised so much scenery
Today I have a meeting with my boss - if he doesn't wriggle out of it, he hates confrontationand fingers crossed I'll have the confidence to say what I feel

Fingers crossed for your meeting - and I am MOST impressed with getting rid of the odd socks.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
