Thanks Shaun :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Wish I could afford the teeth whitening then I could knock them out with a dazzling smile too!

I thought a sun tan would make my teeth look whiter......but they don't
And does the cheap 30p toothpaste that I buy stop them looking shiny and bright too?

Hijack away MoT, I LOVE the conversations on here :D

    There's humus and there's houmus and there's hoummous and there's humous - one I won't eat:rolleyes: ! Just as well you didn't make batter.......mud pies?:D

I thought the soil stuff was spelled: humus or hummus?
Sorry I'm easily confused/led astray by American spelling :o

    Morning all!

Bet South Africa seems like light years away now doesn't it Olive? Whenever I come back from holiday it always surprises me how soon the holiday feels like it months ago .

Just been reading tigtags thread which started on Saturday night, sounds like she's had a really awful time poor thing - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1508031

Two more weekdays left to get housework up to scratch before I become a working woman again :j.

Hope you are all having a good day xx

mumoftwins - thanks for the link, I've just been over to read. Horrifying! As someone said, if it was in EastEnders, people would write in complaining about the lack of realism.....

She's more patient than me - I'd be tempted to pour A BUCKET of VERY dirty, VERY cold water over them. Not a flippin' cup of water.

    Poor thing.

    Morning All :hello:
Not feeling too lively at the moment, so I thought I'd skulk around here and moan :o
End of week 1 (not even that - Day 6) after leaving Popeye and I've achieved not very much, and yet am really really tired.
Last night I watched the film of the play which I'm to direct in July, and am uninspired!
The night before I spent the entire evening de-bugging the computer because it kept crashing. Stupid bug even crashed it twice during a scan :rotfl:
    but I haven't:
    1. painted a single bit of DS2's room which needs to be completed next Friday
    2. written a single word of my play
    3. cleaned a single room in the house
So I suppose that is what is making me feel a bit down.:o

Going to see aged P's tomorrow so it's not as if I have much time at the weekend. :o

Enough moaning, it IS Friday, FK is not at work either so I'm going to be able to lurk here more freely. :o

    Hi Olive,

Sounds like a bit of jet lag (?) combined with missing Popeye and the boring routines of everyday life are getting you down O.

Would lodger help you with housework and painting? Maybe once these are done then you can settle with pen and notepad/laptop and make notes for your play.

Good luck and try not to worry about things, they'll get done...eventually ;)

    URGENT CRY FOR HELP -

Have just popped back in - at least allowing Big Boy pheasant to scuttle out of corner by back door he'd investigated while I worked down fenceline. Left dear little poo - hasn't paid his Ryanair £ but still took flight.

No, reason I'm here is to ask where the Paint lid is.

No further action will be taken against whoever is responsible, provided it's somewhere visible when I go out again.

    I thenk yew.
