    Hello All,

    Having a really bad day!!!

    Today I have.....
    * breakfast and lunch from home - hubby bought me a crunchie as I pleeded poverty
    * an hour's overtime before work
    * talked myself out of buying a new MP3 player - I have mislaid my original one...I will have to search for it at the weekend
    * did treat myself to a latte as I needed cheering up
    * checked quidco/bank etc
    * change in sealed pot

    Good luck to everyone having exams at the moment
    I hope Pip turns up soon
    Hope everyone who has the lurgy feels better soon
    Hope everyone else is doing well

    Just watching Waterloo Road, and getting really confused. The 'Mum' with the brood looks about 25, and the oldest son has to be 17......Does anyone else find this interesting?

    Take care

    Today has not been a nsd, I spent £126.00 on a stick blender........

    Checked the bank - fine.

    Went to B & Q 2 bags farmyard manure £3.98 had a £5 voucher.

    Thats it.

    I managed 3 lots of washing, all dry and put away, just one top needs ironing.

    Used up the last of the chicken in white wine and yogurt sauce with rice, peas and carrots for supper. Started another trifle with left over sponge from Christmas.
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.

  • Had to spend £37 on dental visit...HOWEVER...My teeth require some orthodontic work (they are overcrowded, crooked & painful) which will be starting soon and that will come off the total so not too bad. (Have allowed for this in my debt-paying plan)

    BUT

    on the way home I went to poundland & 99p store and got

    -tea bags (Typhoo, should be £2)
    -Conditioner (£1 - big bottle & coconut scented, smells yummy!)
    -mouthwash (Macleans stuff, usually about £3)

    So not a totally bad day!

    It's a risk as you are travelling up for a weekend but there are the half-price ticket booths in Leicester Square. Problem with that is that you can spend a while queuing.

    Keep looking - I subscribe to a couple of ticket sites so will let you know if I see anything.

    urg x

    Had thought about the ticket booths but think its a bit risky as we may not get tickets for it and thats the show my friend really wants to see. Plus we have saved on so much else that i don't mind too much if the tickets are £40, it will be a great weekend and an experience.

    Hopefully with all our savvy eyes on it we will find a deal. Keep your eyes pealed everyone:rotfl: Thanks for the help Urg.

    Tallie, the course has gone really well thanks. The difference in tuturs is unbelievable and on this one i feel able to be myself and there are only nine of us on it, so its really quite nice! Hope your exam went well and at least it is out of the way now, must have been a bit of a pain trecking to London for it.
