Wednesday 7/1/09 What small dfw things have you done today???

:DWhen we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D

Today i will:
  • make a loaf in breadmaker - done
  • check online banking - done
  • move some money into savings - done
  • update spreadsheets
  • storecupboard meals
  • swim and jacuzzi to use gym membership - didn't manage yessterday
  • reduce ,reuse, recycle at least one item - use tin of xmas chocs at cinema show with oldies later
  • do one thing for fun- watch mamma mia with oldes on big screen
  • do something nice for someone else - feed oldies my xmas chocs instead of snaffling them myself - great idea fay:)
  • sparkle
good morning everyone, happy Wednesday. Lots of paperwork to do this morning then this afternoon we have a cinema show (big screen) coming - oldies going to watch Mamma Mia on a 6ft screen.
Must try and find time for swimming this evening too, short of time now back at work:rolleyes:
Hope you all have a great day, hugs to anyone feeling poorly and welcome to any new posters:D

Pips mum - no signs of pips arrival yet???

Catch you all later.
Reduce,re-use, recycle.
