I haven't seen it either although bought it for my mum for Xmas and she loved it so maybe I'll get her to post it up to me to borrow!

    Today I have/will:

Checked online banking - all fine although remembered about £1 DD for Olive magazine that should have come out and hasn't, so made sure I had enough to cover it in case it comes out late.

Signed up for £6 for 6 issues Glamour offer - free Miss Sixty perfume bottle to add to gift neutral stash and means I have a stash of magazines for next long trip.

No virtual pot today as account is only 1p over the nearest £10

    Did all comps ending tomorrow.

Found 5p on office floor! Decided that was a small enough coin to be able to keep :)

Got another empty Innocent Smoothie bottle off colleague so now have a spare in case I accidentally leave one at work (fill up at home from big value bottle of Tesco smoothie!)

Toast and tea at home for breakfast, HM stew for lunch and brought in HM flapjack, OOD yoghurt (left too many in fridge before going away over Xmas!) with crinkly clementine cut up and mixed in.

Found freebie green tea bag in desk drawer so will have that now.

Another NSD - straight home to make shepherdess pie from stores - recipe below for any veggies or healthy eaters!

    Daily scratch - 10p again.

I think that's all, have good days and here's the recipe!

    Ingredients (to feed 4):
    • 1/2 chopped onion
    • 1 grated carrot
    • 1 tin chopped tomatoes or 1 carton of passata
    • 1 tbsp tomato puree
    • pinch of dried or 1 tsp fresh herbs (mixed herbs, basil or oregano)
    • 1 small tin sweetcorn (drained)
    • 1/2 chopped red/yellow pepper
    • 1 tin of beans or lentils (drained)...haricot, black eyed, mixed beans, red kidney, whatever! (baked beans would be fine too)
    • mashed potato
    • grated cheese
Fry onion and pepper in a little oil for a couple of minutes, add carrot, then add tomato puree and cook for a couple more minutes.
Add tomatoes/passata and herbs and bring to the boil, then add sweetcorn and beans (simmer mixture for around 10 mins if using as a pasta sauce).Put in a casserole dish, top with mashed potato and top with grated cheese. Bung in the oven at about 180 C for 30 mins, until cheese is lightly browned and bubbling.

You could also use the filling as a pasta sauce or to fill tortilla wraps. Vary the ingredients and chop finely or in big bits, depending on what your kids will eat.

Don't normally get chance to post on here - but as it's my day off (& I'm avoiding the shops;) )-thought I'd join in!

    Today I have:
    • Stuck to my meal plan & cooked Moussaka for dinner tonight!
    • Checked online banking
    • Avoided having to call out a plumber - my Dad has actually managed to remove our old toilet seat - which we haven't been able to budge for the last year or so! Just means we've got to go & buy a new one now!
    • Had a NSD (so far...) Intend to go & get some Chemico to clean my UPVC window frames - should be less that £2 though!
    • Have done one load of washing - will dry on the radiators.
    • One more load to do!
Nothing else to report....DD has finally gone down for her nap..she's just realised she can get out of her cot bed...what fun!!:rotfl:

    Have a good day everyone
