Arrgghh today I've woken to a few inches of snow, not normally a bad thing but I've also got a burst on the external pipe with water gushing everywhere outside! Something has gone on the pipe because of the weather and I don't have the right thing to fix it so we're just waiting for a plumber to attend to it!

Great start to the day!

Hello HL - been hoping to catch you. I had a rake through our cables but unfortunately it doesn't look like what I've got will fit a Toshiba - sorry to have to let you down :( I did think you might want to take it to an electrician type place (you know the ones that repair TVs and electronic stuff) and see if they can't just attach a new end to the cable?

Sorry again... especially as you've already had a bad start to the day

Surely you could argue it? If you can prove the contrary..

The guy I spoke to just said that the underwriter's decision was based on the £400 rule and final and put the phone down.

I know I'm panicking but I really do not know what to do now

gemmzie seems very unfair hope you get it sorted. I think they being very tight with credit and harsh on many customers cant see how you havent paid £400 per quarter and also one day notice unacceptable as they may slap on unauthorised charges.
Just a thourght not sure but did this with my overdraft transfered my student od to another bank maybe?

Call back and speak to a supervisor. Failing that hot foot it down to a CAB who'll call them on your behalf.

Hi all, today I'm wishing I'd stayed at home as I've got the nasty cough again, came into work but not really got much to do so bit of a waste of time  And I feel like I've had PMT for about a week, wish it would just get on with it!

Gemmzie, that's ridiculous, I would definitely fight it. Can you go to the bank and speak to someone in person, get them to look at your account and see you have paid in the amounts?

Hey Luc that's fine, it was good of you to look and offer in the first place. There's a computer repair shop in the village, will pop down there see if they can do anything with it. Thanks again for looking.

Surely there must be some sort of compromise they can come to Gemz, can't understand why banks can be like this, it's not helpful at all.

morning all - Lazy person's thread?! I wish

Today I will be mostly doing all the ingredients lists for the 2 courses i've got starting next week and if I have time, AQA.

Gemmz - not sure what to suggest. Maybe start a thread with a shout out to some of the experts who may not regularly see your diary?
