    Xmas Saver!
Hi sylphraven & crazychatter - I thought it was just my OH who goes  when I'm saving money.

He was watching Martin on GMTV this morning when he mentioned a site that sells cheap food (sorry can't remember what it was called) and said he was surprised that we hadn't had huge deliveries from there as yet :rotfl:.

He also mentioned my craft stuff being ditched to store jars of mayo and bottles of squash - as if :rotfl:.

Don't expect he'll be whinging when he has loads of birthday pressies to open next Saturday rather than the usual 2 or 3 :A

    The food shop could be
    www.approvedfood.co.uk
Thou some are of the items are close to or past sell by date, but others are well in date, had a quick peep at site last night, looked good xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Just ordered some Free Bulbs of the Freebies site, hopefully they will be here by easter will give them to my mum as part of her easter pressy, I might even split them up and do little spring baskets not sure yet, the idea has only just come to me after reading scattymams easter idea.

Sarah - I'm glad you mentioned this. I googled the Freebies site - lots of different free stuff sites came up. So I did some reading and I found the website - for anyone interested (I was!!! - I loooooooooove flowers) - here it is:
    http://www.jparkers.co.uk/Index.cfm?fuseaction=discount.form
and the promotion code is FR11 - all this information came from the magic freebies uk website.

Apparently, my order is being processed so fingers crossed I will receive my free bulbs (free delivery, too). THANK YOU - SARAH - loooove youuuu :T:T:T
Also, as I am trying to make some extra dosh - I searched and found a website that lists the "get paid for surveys" sites, here it is:
    http://www.freestuff.co.uk/paid-online-surveys.html
So my next job is to get signed up and do the work!!! Thanks to everyone who mentioned about the paid surveys sites. And apologies if you all already know all this info and this is not helpful - in that case - please ignore me. :-)

mum2one - I put my order in approx. 30 minutes ago and it is being processed. So I am hopeful. Fingers crossed.

Update: I just got an email from enquire@jparkers.co.uk saying: "Thank you for your order, it has been forwarded for processing." So hopefully my order was accepted.

    Morning Everyone

Hope your all ok? No one posted last night  hope you were all having a FUN FUN filled Friday night.

    ((((((((((((((((HUGS to EVERYONE)))))))))))))))))))))))

Got a few bits to do today, and I've got to take FIL for an eye test at Tescos this afternoon, but I'm gonna try and get all the pressies sorted and try and get some sort of spread sheet done to log them all in. I did make sure I had all the Xmas stuff listed and got the last 2 bags up in the loft yesterday. Got a few birthday pressies to wrap for the year, then I want to start on the Easter stuff.

Got a couple of bits to pick up next week for Valentines day and a few extra pressies, then that should be me done for the year, bar the kids & OH birthdays and the same again for Xmas. :j

I can't believe I have nearly finished, gives me more time to concentrate on finding bargins for the kids and OH and a bit more money to save up for other things.

OK better go and get another coffee, still shaking from yesterday morning after running out :o and then I better get stuck in and tidy up a bit before friends come round in a bit.

    Catch you all later

    Sarah
