About me. Im Choccy or Chocolate orange depending on where i am.Yes occasionally i am a total looon who spends too long online, but no where near as much £ as her spendy elves do ..:D
  • OMG, Jamtart & PLM you've got me in tears, lol, & I am not the type of person who cries, you've both been so kind xx.
At the moment my order details are saying its being processed, & delivery date is Monday, no money has been taken out yet, I'm keeping everything crossed
I keep saying "I'm doing it next year, with money saved up, card in hand, & my finger on f5 (& another big bottle of coke, lol), then off instore for 9:00 opening to spend points" but now I'm thinking is it worth the stress of buying online at 3:00 in the morning, & the rest of it - sure whether its delivered or not will decide for me.
You'll hear me yelling & dancing around the place if it arrives, no matter where you are.

I popped into boots today to get baby wipes, & the sale shelves were pratically empty, with people still pushing & shoving to see what was left.

In Germany they scan once a month, PLM - it's starting to look recognisably baby-shaped but still about half its length is its head. A bit scary to think something so definitively unattractive will turn into a beautiful baby - maybe that's why other countries don't scan until the baby has a fighting chance of appearing presentable!
Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
    Three gifts left to buy
  • oh, that must be beautiful, to watch your baby grow month by month

PLM ...I am well impressed with your storage system. Mine are in a metal cupboard in the garage and an overflowing bag in the hall cupboard.....and in various drawers throughout the house.

I got lots of bargains in town this afternoon. We went in after work/school so I dragged my children round shops looking for suitable gifts for next Christmas.
The children were very handy for carrying bags home!
Got some very cheap stuff in superdrug, more wrapping paper in Boots.....no I know I don't need but they were very pretty and versatile( not specfically Christmassy) and yes they were 75% off! Then we went to WHSmith and picked up a lovely felt bag that I thought was half price at £1.99. It went through till at 45p.....sent daughter off for the rest of the stock!
We then went to Asda and when going through the self service till I managed to burst a 15kg bag of dry dog food.....it went everywhere! oops!

    Hello everyone ...

Still almost nothing done in the way of Christmas shopping, but a spare present from last year is getting reassigned for a birthday later in the year and some things at least are taken care of.

In other news, my wedding is next month and things remain to be organised, but I'm no longer feeling any morning sickness at all and we're now past the bedrest and the dangerous stage. Hurrah!

Very impressed by all you people and your hard work and staying up late for Boots. I hope you all get your stuff!

Have been worried about you, so glad everything going ok with baby sugarspun, congratulations on the wedding, hows the nerves. xx

Some gd news, got my goodie bag from QYPE, they sent me a top in Large, so dads claimed that, a little toy, dd claimed that, a bag of sweets, dd claimed that as well, and me, I got my IPOD shuffle, and flash drive pen, so am very happy.

Went to Boots this morning, considering the 50% sale started yesterday, the shelves were nearly bear......people were just grabbing everything.
I did well, got a wack of presents, have allocated some, sort the rest out next week.
I think most of the males are haveing Simpsons toilettry set and Simpsons soap on a rope (no joke that was the only mens toilettry sets left), got quite a few different designs of ladies giftsets, and a very sad confession, brought myself the fondue set, reduced down to about £3, instead of £12.
My total spend was £56.00 - £50.00 came from Boots vouchers Id saved from surveys, so just have to cover £6.00

Dont know if anyone likes Me to You ted, and the assosiated (big word for me), but Clinton Cards have got a sale on with the items 50% off

Got dd Ted backpack, so cute just a big massive cuddly face (£15.00 down to £7.50)

My mothers day present - Me to U Bag (£15.00 reduced to £7.50)

Mums, mothers day present - Me to U Wallet purse (£10.00 down to £5)

Also got fathers day presents, they have dad and granddad, mugs and beer glasses, reduced from £5.99 to £1.99 - so worth a look around.

Anyone looking for toys, Argos are haveing a really good clearance, from birth to 5 yrs, brilliant prices, their on-line as well as instore. New catalogue out on Saturday, which in theory means another gd sale leaflet from Monday x
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
