Hi
I bought a DVD off play.com (for a xmas movie hamper) using the nestle offer, then getting it for £1 but i used £1 from my playfunds from when i sold some of my old DVD's.
So in theory getting it free, is that money neutral???
I am also trying to lose weight at the moment and i have lost 6lbs in just under two weeks, so i am very pleased! :T
I am going hunting for scrapbooking bargains tomorrow in a few local(ish) crafty shops, so wish me luck! :rotfl:
I love reading everyones updates so keep them coming.

Hi I am still working on getting organised (going well) and money neutral (not so well!). have decided I must start selling on ebay! So I have a little question for all you experienced e bayers (esp Jamtart queen of ebay)... how do you work out how much postage to charge? this is the bit that is stopping me actually putting my stuff on ebay!
Also...those of you who have ordered the whispers pens which set(s) did you get? they are BOGOF so can order two sets but there are 3 to choose from and I can't decide:rotfl:0 -

Glad Im not the only person who loves it, furrypig, think you may be younger than me, Im 38 this year.
Confession time with kids DVD, I also brought Bagpuss (which DD has now put in her pile) and The Clangers! x
no I still win!!! I'm still the oldest!!! But prob the naughtiest (tho I know Choccie Orange my twin is in competition with me for the naughty title!!)0 -
>> furrypig is naughtier than me
she bought more craft stuff :rotfl:
I still dare not go to docrafts, well i actually might tonight is H plays on the xbox. I have been really good for 5 days and only bought 2 sheets of A4 card ,one was all sparkly with glittery snowflakes on it and the other was all shiney with hearts on it.. Not sure what i am going to do with them but theyre all pretty :rotfl: and i thought ohh well i havent bought anything this week,so i did
I have stayed away from Boots sale too :j i went once, bought 2 gifts that i knew i needed/wanted then came away feeling all happy that i resisted buying ...just because it was cheap ( or free because i have points)furrypig says:my name is Choccy and I am addicted to nose free stamps as I want to save them all and give them noses!!!:rotfl:
About me. Im Choccy or Chocolate orange depending on where i am.Yes occasionally i am a total looon who spends too long online, but no where near as much £ as her spendy elves do ..:D0 -
What a list Goochie! but the best way to start is a list & you know how we like our lists :rotfl: . Ooo, I like the idea of having a pavement jar/tin & putting in coins I've found on the street like you doluvbargains wrote: »Hi

Yup, that sounds money neutral to me, & GZ on your weight loss.
I goy my docrafts delivery this morning, only spent £15 but got quite a few stamps.
Been in my roof today to put the xmas decs away (I always leave them out, but boxed as my cats knock the baubles under chairs, desks etc & it winds me up if I have to go into the roof to put 1 or 2 away, only to find somemore. Being up there has definately kicked my butt into gear to start ebaying, I NEED to. Theres loads of stuff in there I wont use. Theres stuff my big bro wants to sell on ebay (I get 50% of the profit), theres clothe my LO has grown out of, things I dont fit in anymore (& after almost 2 years since LO was born I'm not likely to), as well as other bits & bobs which can go on, so this month I want to have a HUGE clear out up there. Get rid of my old college folders, they havent been looked at since I was there, lol, things like that. Sure theres things in my wardrobe I've never worn before as well. Then everything that sells can go towards the pressies I've bought / will buy.You cant take a step forward with both feet on the ground0 -
I stopped off at Dobbie's garden centre today and they had tin christmas crackers filled with sweets marked down to £1.75 but they went through the till at a £1,.....you guessed it I went back and bought more. They are decorated with Raymond Bigg's Snowman and have sweets in them. We will eat the sweets & then I will use them next Christmas for gifts.
tonight I am going to be really sad & wrap the things I have already bought, fill my notebook and then put them away in my Christmas gift cupboard, sit back and feel smug!!
Hope you all have a nice weekend.0 -
luvbargains - thats exactly right for money neutral things !!

Managed to get a few bits in superdrug, and sainsbury's to add to the box, now all I need to do is go through them all.
Got so much to do again this week, I just don't seem to get time to come online at the moment, but I'm thinking of you all having Fun and missing you all too. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks things will start getting back to normal and I can join in all the Fun again.
