RMA were and probably still are the first port of call for creditors, this next step of action will be bailiffs, courts etc. etc.
RMA is VERY successful in what it does, they make a lot of money for themselves,
REMEMBER RMA ARE NOT THE END OF THE LINE, BEFORE YOU GO ANYWHERE NEAR A COURT SOLICITORS, BAILIFFS AND THE LIKE WILL BE INVOLVED AND YOUR DEBT WILL MOUNT WITH FEES AND CHARGES, GO THE CCCS, PAYPLAN OR YOUR LOCAL CAB!
I am not a lawyer, but I understood that you had to go to court before you could send in bailiffs? Even if you are no longer there, this slip of the tongue shows a mental attitude to debtors, legal process and extraction of payment that explains many of the complaints on this thread.
The only way RMA can make money to to get more out of the debtor than was originally owed. What RMA are doing is making people's debt position worse by adding charges. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

You do not have to make a personal appearance in court before bailiffs are instructed, sorry if the context i put that in was not put across properly. I AM NOT DEFENDING RMA! i understand charges are wrong, i am trying to make you people aware of their process0 -
"I can only describe the way i found RMA Resolve from when i worked there. i didn't lose my temper or become defensive, i was astounded that someone would push their opinions on others on a forum site beleiving that their views are the correct way, and from a "debt collectors" perspective, this is absolutely not true"
that is the full paragraph mate, if you read it carefully i am clearly responding to the fact you said i lost my temper at your comments not saying i never did this to a customer. you portray half a picture, you are very very sneaky and i don't understand why. i am done with this, i do hope that everyone gets out of their situation and becomes debt free, as for the help i could offer that's gone now and i just hope you don't lead people astray 030.
personally if i had rude and despicable debt collectors phoning me i'd want to know the best way of dealing with one, and i feel i'm in a good position to help people with that. whatever school yard game your playing with your creditors is up to you but do not attempt to make me look bad because i once worked for a company. and as for your comment saying i should expect a hard time, perhaps rationality isn't a word you know but i use it now and i did then. if you had dealt with me then you would know that, but you never did. and before you bring up the whole rude and short tempered debate again (by the way, come up with something new, do you still celebrate the fact england won the world cup in 1966 with same vigour and delight you would have done back then?) i am willing to fight fire with fire if offended, as any red blooded man would do.
DO NOT TAR ME WITH SAME BRUSH AS OTHERS, i have dealt with irresponsible debtors in the past, i don't make the assumption you flounder your money on expensive suits and drinking, i treat you with the respect you deserve so you could have at least given me that courtesy. if you deal with everyone with the same manner as you have me it is no wonder people do not want to help you
THIS POST IS AIMED SOLELY AT 030, this is just before he attempts to point a finger at me claiming i feel this way about everybody in the whole wide world!0 -
And finally the so called ex-RMA man shows his true colours in defeat and resorts to rudeness , half truths truths, vague misguided assumptions and of course edits it at the last minute so as not to offend anyone else. Go away you sad little man, sell your mortgages, get people further into debt and then troll about on forums where your silly arguments are cut to ribbons, bother me no longer.0

And after the way you have goaded him I'm not surprised. If this is indicative of the way you deal with your debts its not surprising you are having a difficult time.0 -
Thankyou for that 030. you have shown YOUR true colours also. your debt scenario has obivously made you bitter. i am sorry for that but it is by no means anyone else's fault than either yours or the creditors that threw money at you irresponsibly.
use your anger, turn it into passion and drive and go and sort your situation out instead of hiding away from it.
you give honest debtors a poor reputation.0 -

Its indicative of the way I deal with people who have trouble stringing together a coherent argument, and for your information I'm not having a difficult time, my parents are, because a certain debt collection company thinks its ok to phone them at all hours in some misguided attempt to contact me. I have however, with the genuine help from another poster on this forum managed to sort that. I hope you have as much luck with whatever reason you joined this thread for.0 -
there was no argument, you have, from the start, began to personally persecute me. i can't apologise on behalf of a company i once worked for, but i can say from a personal point of view it is wrong that harrassment has taken place (although harrassment is only in excess two calls a day that make contact, and also that, whather anyone likes it or not, RMA as a company only deal over the phone).
i am astounded at how personal you have made this.0 -

I'm sorry you see it as a personal attack but there you go, such is life, you and me were the only people talking at the time so I guess it was gonna seem personal, funnily enough I never took any of your judgements against me to heart! I dont know why you keep harping on about apologies, I haven't once asked for one from you, nor would I want one! If someone else has I suggest you take it up with them. Whatever the case, I've got the result I wanted, which was the only reason I came here, so there you go, take heart people, the little man can win the battle if not the war.0
