I basically get a pile of potatoes and make mash [no butter etc SW style] use the mash to line a pasty dish, get some cooking bacon misshaps, onion and cover with beaten egg. Bake in the oven until golden, and the egg is cooked. You could add cheese and other veg to it if you fancied.
I find this is quite filling so I only have spaghetti with it, it's also completely free on the new Extra Easy plan.
Hope this helps!

Hi everyone,
Here's my plan for the week. The days I have each meal may change, but this is what we will be having unless DH gets moody and changes his mind:rolleyes::
Monday: Meat curry, rice and lentils
Tuesday: Sausages, mash, gravy, broccoli
Wednesday: [strike]Nicoise salad with duck breast & chicken livers (£4.99 for huge duck breast at Lidl - nomnom)[/strike] OH out with clients, I made myself a chickpea curry with vegetables that were lurking in the fridge
Thursday: Goulash and [strike]rice[/strike] carrot and potato mash
Friday: [strike]Kale and potato mash with smoked sausage [/strike]Nicoise salad with duck breast & chicken livers (£4.99 for huge duck breast at Lidl - nomnom
Saturday: HM pizza
Sunday: Puff pastry tart with taleggio and vine tomatoes (and salad)
Lunches for me will be leftovers, soup and bread or sandwiches. DD gets a cooked lunch at school and DH sorts out his own lunch. Breakfast is toast or yoghurt for me and cereal and milk for DD. DH only does coffee in the morning.:cheesy::cheesy: Cheese… milk's leap toward immortality :cheesy: :cheesy:Clifton FadimanFeb'11 - GC: £105.89/£125 - NSD: 15:jMar'11 GC: £3.84/£100 - NSD: 00 -

Weds - Nando's marinated chicken legs, roasted sweet potatoes, tomato avocado salsa
Thurs - hm pizza and toppings (husband away)
Fri - chicken and chickpea curry, rice, naan
Sat - Steaks in a JD marinade, spinach in marscapone, hm wedges
Sun - Spag bol
Have a great week0 -
