My First Debt Free Diary- Pay the debt and lose 70lbs!!!!!!!

What hours do you work as it is? Cleaning is a good job to get for part-time work as it's usually outside of office hours so you can do it around another job.
I know what you mean about the mystery shopping, the only stuff I ever get is for a certain fast food restaurant that you could put weight on just by looking at.
And that's not all that often either.
Good luck with clearing your debts. I've got a diary of my own so I know how much it helps to write things down, even if it's just to vent. I'll drop in now and then, see how you're doing.

Well tonight is my first weigh in night, I really hope I have lost at least 3lbs. Being on a diet is so hard, but I have already seen how much money I have saved my self in junk food. The odd choccie bar really adds up.
Wish me luck

Wooooo Hoooooooo I lost 2 lbs. Im really happy.:j :j :j :j :j :j
And I am meeting a friend tonight for dinner and her boss has told her to put the whole night on expenses as a thank you to her for work that she has done.
That means the £30 I had budgeted for it can be payed off of the evil Barclay Card.
So far this is a good day.:D

Thought I would put my budget up incase their is anything people think I can get cheaper:
Parents Loan £150
Rent £ 90.00
Bank Account Charges £ 17.00 - Free holiday, mobile insurance and interest free O/D.
Contact Lenses £ 27.50
Mobile Phone £ 20.00
ISA £ 50.00 - Emgergencys and Xmas/Present fund
Lloyds TSB CC £ 80.00
Barclays CC £ 80.00
ICS - English A Level £ 19.00 - Last payment in Aug 09
Mum Petrol £ 30.00
Lloyds TSB Loan £ 263.53
Next cat £ 45.00 - Over paying by £20 a month to clear it.
Tutor £ 91.00 - Last session in June 09
Fun Money £ 200
Total £ 1163.03
Im left with £168.00 a month. I need to have cash to pay for work things and claim back on expenses as I dont wan to use my cards and pay interest. Whats left I pay off of the Next card or Barclays as theu have the highest interest rate.

Just a thought but your contact lenses seem quite expensive - when I used to wear them I found that, in a similar way to haggling down mobile phone contracts, the opticians would reduce the price in order to keep that regular custom.0

Well done!! 2lbs is a good drop for a week

And yay for freebie meals!! (I've booked a food & drink mystery shop for the friday before my birthday with my friend, so we can celebrate for free, he he!!)
What interest would you be paying on your OD if it wasn't free?0 -
The first thing that jumped out at me as well was the contact lenses. What opticians are you with? I'm pretty sure you can get those cheaper. Well done on the phone though. £20 a month is very good indeed, especially by my standards.
