You're bound to have blips every now and then, don't let it knock you off track, you've been doing so well!! :j

    Hi Tasha,

I've just had a read of your diary, and I have to say you have done SOOOO well! :T

Everyone slips off the wagon sometimes, but you've done so well for not increasing the debt anymore. I'm sure you can get yourself re-focused. The girls on here have motivated me so much that I have started my own diary and it is really helping to try and come on here every day.

If you don't mind I will subscribe to your thread to see how you get on. Good luck with the rest of the debt, you can do it! x

    Hi All,

I have been sooooo bad this week, I spent £100 on my credit card!!!!!!!!!

So payday is on Friday, I am going to maye all my normal payments plus an extra £50 so I am reducing my debt by £500 this month. I am determined by xmas my debt will be under £15,500.

I have Friday off work so that I can list the million things I have for ebay, taht should make up the money I spent and a bit more I hope.

    Have a good day all.

I’m back and more determined than ever!!!!!
  • Hi All,

Thought I would do an update as it has been months. Well my Boyfriend and I are all set to move out together in December, I have managed to save £1200, im amazed at my self. We are going to rent for 18 months, I am trying my hardest to clear all my debts by then, after they have gone we can get saving for our deposit for our house wooo hoooo. So hopefully by the time I am 30 we will be looking good to buy.

Debt is coing down again at last, by December will be under £16k which means I have clear over 5k this year, I am so proud of my self........ but I really need to work harder, I have been buying things in the sale and in cheap shops. Im going to ebay it all starting from December so I am hoping for make a few hundred profit to pay off the CC.

    xxxxxxxxx

I’m back and more determined than ever!!!!!

Hi Tasha i think you are doing very well with the debt. I have seen other people comment on here that if they are really debt busting and really focussed on that, that other things, like losing weight or doing exercise start taking a back seat. I gues you focus so much mental energy on one area of your life, that there is less left over for other areas.

So don't beat yourself up over not losing as much weight so far, as you wanted to, it will happen. But the debt busting is your focus at the moment

I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?

Well 2010 is a new start. 2009 started off really well but ended pants. Debt now stands at £17,128.75. I have paid off £4319.69. In Octover my debt was only £16,400. Between Oct and now I have feel off the wagon so it is time to get back in teh saddle and focus.

Okay my resolutions for 2010 are:

1 - Move in with BF (renting).
2 - Get a new well paid job that comes with study support and a bonus.
3 - Become healthy (i.e lose weight and become fit, I am not going to use the D*** word).
4 - Clear 70% of my credit card debt (and not use my cards) which is £4488.00 = 11 months paying £408 starting in February. My payments now are £200 a month so need to find another £208.00 a month, really need to get back on the ebay selling and poss second job plus as much Mystery Shopping as I can get.

Really need to focus this year on saving money and earning more money, I want to look back this time in 2011 and feel proud by what I have acheived. I have also started a sealed tin that takes £500 pound coins ready for Xmas 2010 as that seems to have been my down fall this year. Plus another tin that also takes £500 pound coins for over payment of my loan.

Good luck to all the DFW lets make 2010 a year to be proud off.

I’m back and more determined than ever!!!!!
