your comments do not help. maybe that lady has worked everyday for the last 30 year and has been put of of a job through no faut of her own. you should not be so quick to judge as it could be you looking for extra help one day !!!!!!!:mad:Jojo_the_Tightfisted wrote: »Don't worry, you'll get used to the scrounger insults the longer you stay here...0

You need to re-read and digest what sunnyone actually wrote.
And that will help a new user how? The poster is a little sensitive, but will be far more upset if they don't know it's on the way sooner or later. But I'm not having a go at sunnyone - the general mood on the boards is usually far more unpleasant where benefits are concerned, which the new user would be wise to bear in mind.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -
Sunnyone said WE not you, which puts her in the same situation as the poster asking if the CWP is paid to people on IB.
Can't see why that is so hard to understand.0 -

We have apparently only triggered one week because despite it being below freezing for 6 days, on day 7 the average temp was plus 1 therefore no payment for that week
Just had to order more heating oil at a cost of over £500, its no fun at the moment.
I don't know if I'm getting better or just used to the pain.

I've found the legislation, and I do now agree with you - I also didn't realise that the amount should be only £8.50! It was raised in 2008 and still has not been decreased, but is (along with everything else) subject to change in the Spending Review.Gone ... or have I?0
