Find it hard to resist sweet things so I bake my own  Its like asking for trouble........but baking gives me pleasure and I like eating home made stuff rather than shop bought.

Yes but at least when you bake your own you use up some calories making the stuff:D

I'm just waiting for my journal to arrive, been back to 'the plan' since Monday and have managed to listen to the CD twice. Hopefully keeping the journal will gee me up even more.0

Well it is still all good for me. I slipped a bit Friday night and had a couple of cakes but amazingly when I weighed myself yesterday morning I had dropped 4 lbs this week. Had to do it twice because I couldn't believe the scales! Although got a family tea today with birthday cake so may be putting more on again.... More walking this week I think.
Good luck everyone."Go placidly amid the noise and haste and remember what peace there may be in silence": Desiderata0 -
Snow White, why don't you make up a smoothie and drink it on the way to work? I used to buy the frozen fruit from Asda, or the frozen smoothie mix, and mix it with a muller light, and a bit of juice, and wheatgerm.
Very filling, and very portable.0 -

I'm on my 5th day of writing in the journal, 10 days back on this altogether. I think the journal's quite good purely to give me a date to focus on ( the day before my mum's 70th is when it finishes. I've stuck my photo in the back and gosh do I look big on it! I've always been big but I'VE put a stone on just in the past year and I can really see how even that stone makes a difference. Haven't been near the scales yet and have had no desire to, bbut I am just off to have some tea ' cause I'M HUNGRY NOW!0
